This is a story I'm writing for my English but I thought I'd upload it for you guys out there. Harry's POV, to be updated soon
Last Night
He looked out the window to see a broken life before him. Everything had gone wrong last night It was all a hazy mess in his head but the bits he could remember didn't look good. He looked around Hagrid's hut and witnessed a horrific sight. Memories of last night flashed up before his eyes.
They'd been having a party to celebrate the end of their exams, Fred and George had managed to sneak down to the kitchens and get them some food, they'd also gone down the passage behind the one-eyed witch to Hogsmeade to get some Butterbeer for them to drink. They had, however, refused to disclose how or where they'd got it from. That was all normal, but Harry knew about the passage and they STILL wouldn't tell him from where they'd got him. He assumed with hindsight that it wasn't from the Hogs Head as everyone has presumed, but from somewhere else... dodgier. It hadn't occurred to any of them last night that what they were drinking might not ACTUALLY be Butterbeer. But thinking about it now, though it was hard with his pounding headache, how could Fred and George afford so much stuff? The food had been taken from the kitchens, Harry was sure of that, but the drink that he now knew WASN'T Butterbeer...?
He could see Ron sprawled on Hagrid's bed but there didn't appear to be anyone else there at all. As Ron didn't look like he'd wake for at least the next few weeks Harry thought it was safe to go up to the Castle to try and find someone else to ask about last night's events.
As he approached the Castle he could plainly see that the party had not only been confined to Hagrid's hut, the evidence for this was strewn up and down the grounds and a few of the statues needed repairing sooner rather than later. He could vaguely see two figures staggering towards him in a similar fashion to himself, it seemed that Harry wasn't the only one affected. Hannah Abbot and Ernie Macmillan were stumbling down supporting each other with slightly distant smiles. They looked pleased though. They both thanked him for last night's party and insisted that it had been amazing. Before he could ask them what had happened they'd staggered off laughing and generally being happy.
He carried on up the descent to the castle feeling confused and a little worried. He checked the clock in the clock tower and saw that it was 10 o'clock in the morning. He made his way up to the Gryffindor common room to find it was barely recognisable. Chairs weren't upright and the few tables were upside down, now that he looked more closely everything was upside down... Luckily nothing was stuck to the ceiling so with a simple' Reparo' he sorted the common room out. But a thought struck him, why hadn't the house elves cleared up after them, it was after all their job... He remembered Dobby saying none of them would clean Gryffindor Tower for fear of finding clothing but Dobby was happy enough to be close to Harry. Where was Dobby? Did it have something to do with what had happened?
He wondered where Hermione was, he couldn't check her dormitory as the stairs automatically changed to a slippery slope when a boy tried to climb them. He checked the boys dorm just in case she'd gone looking for him but she wasn't there. He went up to the library.
Hahaha sorry guys I'm leaving it there for now, I'll try to update soon... Please review! I depend on my reviews to keep writing
