Chapter:1 the beginning.
At ten years old Phobos had what every person in the world wanted. He had the perfect life a loving mother and father, not to mention the newest arrival of his baby sister, Elyon. Yes to an outsider Prince Phobos had the perfect life. If only they knew.
"Your Highness your father requests your presence in the library in ten minutes." said Anna the maid.
Anna Rice's family had worked for the royal for the last one hundred years. She knew everything about everything, including what King Gavin did to his son in the library. Phobos was such a sweet and kind boy, but she knew if someone didn't do something soon the King's actions would change the boy forever. 'But what could she do it wasn't her place' thought Anna.
"Tell my father that I will be down in a minute Anna." sighed Phobos.
" Of course my prince" answered Anna.
Only in his room Phobos took off his night shirt and study the scar on his chest from the last time father requested his presence. Touching his chest he winced as a lonely tear slowly ran down his face. 'How many more times would he wake up in his bed with dry blood on his skin and broke arms.' he wondered.
Many times Phobos had thought of suicide, just thinking about it being dead. His father couldn't beat him if he was dead right? Many times he had tried to tell his mother, but would she listen, Ha. Just the idea of the Queen taking his side instead of her husband was laughable. The prince only cared about two people in his life. His best friend Cedric, just thinking of the snake made him smile. Phobos told Cedric everything including beatings and the girl of his dreams.
Which brings us to Melissa Hamlyn. She was gifted as she was beautiful. She was also one of the Prince's few friends, besides Cedric Melissa was the only one he trust. Phobos dreamed of her every night. In these dreams he admitted his love for her, sees their wedding and their bright future. In these dreams he escapes the pain and horror of his life.
However King Gavin knew that his son love for the girl and banished the Hamlyns to the realm of Earth. How this thought made Phobos's blood boil, the King knew how he felt about Melissa yet he took away one of his few happiness.
'Oh but they would pay', smirked Phobos 'they would all pay even with their lives'
