Don't Own Anything.
Someone asked for more to this story, so here it is!
"No!"
"Come on Kenz... Please?"
She shook her head, "No way, not happening G."
He frowned, "Why not?"
"I don't want to. I'm all for listening to you and the others, but you will never get me to sing."
"Please?" G leaned close to her, "I'll make it worth your while later..."
Kensi patted his cheek, "You're cute, but it's not happening."
"Fine, how about a dance?" He offered a hand, "I know you like that."
She smiled and took his hand, "I can never refuse a dance."
"Good."
He led her to the floor and they started to move as someone began to sing an old '80s song.
"So how long do you think it'll take the team to realize?"
G looked over at the table where everyone sat, "They haven't noticed anything yet. It may be awhile. Why? Do you want to tell them?"
"No." She waved at the others, "I was just wondering. Do you want to tell them?"
"I kind of like the idea of keeping us a secret. Besides, it'll be fun to watch them figure it out."
"If you say so. Sam's coming towards us."
"I guess I have to give you up then." He handed her over to Sam and they began to dance.
The first words out of his mouth surprised her, "So how long have you and G been dating?"
Her eyes went wide, "Why would you say that?"
Sam gave her a smirk, "For the past month you two have been arriving and leaving within ten minutes of each other, G suddenly has a ride to work, and you two keep partnering up more than usual."
Kensi smiled, "G was wrong, he thought no one had noticed. We've been together just over a month. Are you going to tell?"
"Nope. I'll enjoy my time of being the only one who knows, but the others will realize what's going on soon. Hetty probably knows already though."
The song ended and they headed back to the table.
She slipped in between Hetty and G, "What's the time?"
Nate glanced at his watch, "Eleven. I think I'm gonna get going."
Dom nodded, "Yeah, can I get a ride with you Eric."
The blond tossed him the keys, "Sure, as long as you drive. I think I had one too many to drink."
Those three said their goodbyes and left.
"I think I will follow those three in leaving, it's getting late."
"I agree Hetty, I'll give you a ride home."
She smiled at Sam, "Thank you."
They got out of their chairs, and Hetty winked at G and Kensi, "Don't stay up too late you two. You have work tomorrow."
After she disappeared, G looked at Kensi, "She knows."
"She does, and so does Sam."
"Sam? How would he know?"
Kensi grinned, "He noticed things. I didn't deny it because we can trust him."
"So much for it taking awhile."
"You poor thing. Ready to get home?"
G grabbed her hand, "Sure. Did the others pay their tabs?"
"Yeah, but you can pay ours. I'll be outside waiting."
He watched her leave and laughed, despite being able to kick any guy's ass, Kensi was still a typical woman.
She let the man pay.
