Old Friends and Severed Bonds.
Author's Notes: I was inspired to write this fanfic by another writer on here. I recommend everyone who reads this fic to read Bringing a loved one home by 1. This is my first fic so I hope you enjoy it and please Review.
Chapter 1: Intruder.
It was a beautiful night in Konoha. The early evening moon caused the lake to glitter. The small summer breezes caused the thick forest of Konoha to sway elegantly. The stars were bright like fireflies in the deep blue sky. All was silent except the whispering wind and faint sound of woodland creatures. A handsome blonde shinobe was on patrol in the forests when he saw a shadow fly by him. Quickly without thinking the muscular figure launched a kunai that hit the ground in front of the moving form, stopping it in its tracks. Before the figure could blink the blue eyed warrior was in front of it.
"State your name and purpose for being in Konohagakure."
"N...Naruto-kun, It's...me...Hinata-chan I am a kunoichi here in the leaf."
There was a short silence before Naruto sighed and relaxed. He recognised her chakra and knew that it wasn't a transformation jutsu for only the real Hinata could possibly intoxicate his senses like this and block all coherent thoughts of his with her beauty.
"My apologies Hinata-chan I did not know you were on patrol tonight and I didn't recognise your ANBU mask" He explained as he raised his own ANBU mask to reveal his perfect tanned porcelain features flashing a gleaming white smile at her.
"I am not on patrol Naruto-kun I just came back from a mission and couldn't sleep...I come to sit by the lake and watch the stars on nights that I am restless." She told the god like male standing before her.
"Why did you put your mask back on?"
"I hadn't taken it off yet...as soon as I got to the Hyuga estate I went to my room and lay on the bed I couldn't sleep so I came here."
"Oh" Was the only reply she received from him. She blushed lightly the soft pink giving her usually pale face a healthy glow. Both shinobe stood for a few moments thinking their own thoughts until Naruto violently pushed Hinata to the side.
"Naruto-kun" She whispered to herself. She couldn't believe he had just been so violent towards her it was completely out of character for him.
"State your name and purpose for being in Konohagakure. I assume your visit is not so you could mend your ways and return since you just launched a kunai at my comrade."
"You haven't changed at all dobe and it wasn't a simple kunai it was dripping with poison." The intruder's voice was seeping with smugness, a smirk evident on his extremely pale face, danger emanating from every cell in his body.
Hinata gasped as the male emerged from the shadows into the dim light of the moon. "Sasuke-kun?" her whisper was inaudible, carried away with the wind.
Author's Notes: I was going to just leave it like this and have my readers use their imaginations...But I also have a few Ideas for continuing it...Let me know what you think?
