A green-eyed boy sat alone in the garden at Number Four Privet Drive. This was the final straw. Harry Potter had had enough of his bullying family. He was sick and tired of being pushed around and punished for things that weren't his fault. So what if things always happen around me? I can't help it and nothing real bad has ever happened. Strange things always happened around Harry and when his cousin tried to punch him today, that strangeness was openly displayed.

Dudley pulled back his arm, ready to deliver a sound blow to his cousin's midsection, when Harry's eyes started to glow. Unfortunately, Dudley did not notice this and tried to punch Harry anyway. The hit wasn't even felt by Harry, yet his cousin's knuckles looked like he had punched a wall. As soon as Petunia saw her "little Diddykin's" poor hand, Harry had been given a beating from his Uncle Vernon and locked in his room. They hadn't fed him in two days, and Harry was getting desperate.

Luckily for Harry, he was not a regular boy. He was a wizard and at the moment, the only thing keeping him conscious or even alive was his magic. Still, he felt himself weakening. He knew he had to escape when he got the chance. Of course he worried, What am I gonna do? Will I even be able to live on the streets? Maybe I can get a job or find a hostel or something. With this in mind, Harry contemplated his future.

Far away…

Spencer Reid always liked his job. He loved helping people and the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU for short) allowed him to do just that. Unfortunately, his job also had the ill side effect of showing him the evil in life. Some people would be drawn to this evil and many actually have. You see, Spencer works for the government to help catch criminals by profiling them. Spencer sees evil in his job that many others don't have to deal with and to make matters worse, he had an eidetic memory. Spencer Reid is, literally, a genius. Of course he was born with this gift, but in his youth he found a way to strengthen it even more… but enough about that.

At the moment, Reid was just getting his morning coffee and packing up for a case in London. This was something big to have to travel overseas, and Reid wanted to be prepared for anything. In fact, the whole team had been invited by Scotland Yard to stay in London for a very long time. They were actually going to discuss the details today at work. Spencer was excited. He really had nothing holding him in the States other than his team. About two years ago his mother passed away leaving him with a large insurance check. His father wanted nothing to do with him and Spencer had no other family members. Well, he had no other blood family members.

Reid's team was another story. They trusted one another even more than family. That's why Spencer was packing everything. If Hotch, the team leader and father figure, told Reid this was serious, then it was. Spencer grabbed his to-go cup of coffee and travel bag. The rest of his stuff (mainly books) was placed in boxes. The moving men were coming in an hour to pick it all up to take to the airport. Reid was ready to begin a new life. But first, he must go meet the team to get the details of what's going on.
