One second their eyes were there, and for nearly five whole minutes, they went missing.
Buford, Baljeet and Ferb were searching the entire backyard for Phineas and Isabella, who, due to the blackout and the fact that they couldn't see their eyes, were impossible to find. Even after calling out their names, they hadn't replied, and the three were starting to get worried.
Heavy breathing could be heard from the corner of the backyard, and the three boys headed in that direction.
Phineas and Isabella's eyes slowly opened, revealing their position, which was extremely close to each other. Ferb, who was prone to noticing tiny details, could tell that they were looking deeply into each other's eyes, and guessed that there was more going on than what his brother was letting on.
Buford let out a raspy, fake cough, which caused Phineas and Isabella's eyes to widen in shock, as they jumped apart from each other.
"You two go back to whatever it was you were doing." Ferb told them teasingly, as he grabbed Buford and Baljeet's arms and pulled them towards the centre of the backyard, all three of them chuckling.
The pair appeared to move closer to each other, but their eyes didn't disappear this time, and they walked towards their friends.
"Okay, can you feel it Mom? Can you feel it?" Candace asked, as her eyes appeared, followed by the eyes of her Mom and Dad.
"I can't feel anything Candace." Linda told the teen.
The lights then flickered back on, revealing the whole backyard to them.
Phineas had his arm around Isabella's shoulders, while one of hers was around his waist. Both had slightly red lips, their hair was slightly dishevelled, and they were both still breathing heavier than normal.
Linda raised her eyebrow with a smirk. "Come on dear." She told Laurence, beckoning him with a finger.
Candace's eyes were comically wide. "I really missed something, didn't I?" She asked, pouting slightly.
"Yes, yes you did." All five kids stated simply.
