A Gift Only You Can Give.

We are alone you and I,

In your forest away from prying eyes.

We have been fighting all morning.

Now we sit in your forest enjoying each other's company.

There is no need to talk, right now we know this.

We sit here until the sun starts setting.

You say, "It's getting late we should head back."

I just nod my head in agreement.

I go to stand up and you take my hand.

I look back at you,

And say, "What Inuyasha?"

You look at me but say nothing.

I go to leave again only to have you say, "I'm sorry Kagome."

I look at you in shock.

You never apologize for anything,

But you just apologized to me.

I am so happy,

That I forget myself.

I wrap my arms around your neck,

And pull you toward me.

You apologize to me,

And I accept it,

With a hug,

That no one but us will know about.
