Chapter 1 welcome

Lily was scrambling to make sure she had everything she needed in her trunk. 2 weeks ago Lily had received a letter saying she had been accepted to Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry. First Lily thought someone was playing a joke on her. After reading the letter over 7 times Lily thought it was too formal to be a joke.

Lily walked down stairs to find her parents already at the front door. "Nice to see your going to miss me," joked Lily.

"We'll miss you honey," said her Mom.

When Lily got on to platform 93/4 she was a little bit early so she said good bye to her mom and dad. Lily sat in the 1st compartment watching kids enter the train. When the train took off at 11o'clock Lily heard the compartment door slide open. When she looked up to see who was there, she saw three guys coming in.

"Hi, can we join you"? Said the boy in the middle. He had jet black hair that was very untidy.

"Sure," Lily replied happily.

"Thanks I'm James Potter", said the boy in the middle as he extended his hand out.

"Hi, I'm Lily Evans", said Lily taking James hand.

Lily looked at the other 2 boys. The 1st had misty blond hair and hazel eyes. The other boy had long black hair and looked like he could be James brother.

"I'm Remus Lupin, nice to meet you Lily", said the boy with misty blond hair.

"And I'm Sirius Black", added the last boy very quickly.

"Nice to meet you all", Lily said sweetly

About 5 minutes passed of listening to the boys talk about something called Quidditch. Suddenly the door slammed open reveling a very pretty girl. She had long blond hair, deep blue eyes and looked around 11 years old.

"Hi Sirius, Remus, James", said the girl.

"Hi Alice", said James dully

"So who's your friend James"? Alice grinned at Lily who was sitting next to James.

I'm Lily Evans, replied Lily.

"Hi Lily, I'm Alice Nevelet", said Alice Happily

"Can I join you guys", asked Alice.

"Yeah sure, you can sit next to me", answered Lily glad to get another girl in the compartment.

"So how do you all know each other"? Lily asked after every one was seated.

"Well I know Sirius from Quidditch, Remus's dad works with mine and Alice lives next store to me", answered James.

"And we all know each other threw James", added Alice

"What's quidditch"? Lily asked.

"Muggle born"? Questioned Sirius.

Lily nodded, she had herd that some purebloods didn't like muggle born.

"Oh well quidditch is a sport" answered Sirius. "That you play on broomsticks".

"On each team you have 7 players a seeker, keeper, 2 beeters, and 3 chasers. There are 2 teams. The feeled has 3 gold posts with whoops at the ends. The object is to………

Just, then a buzzer went off say you should change into there school uniforms.

"I'll tell you more later", finished James.

Why does Lily hate James so much? Was he terrible when they met or did he do something bad after they met? Why say no over and over again? Why ask her out over and over again? Chapter 2. through the years

Year ½:
