It''s Finally Happened!
...Kaede's Village, Hiroko's Point of View...
I was petting Kirara in Kaede's hut while Sango, Sukura and Aneko all went out to do their sparring practice. Speaking of them, the rest of the group-especially Shippo-has been acting freakishly happy or the past two days. Aneko keeps tearing up a little every time I see her. When I ask her she just says,"I have to give you up now. It's not fair. You shouldn't have to grow up."
Bugs the hell out of me wondering what she means for it.
"Mew! Mew!" Kirara's voice brought me out of my trance and I looked up to see InuYasha standing in the entranceway, his head down.
"Hiroko,"he said. "I found a place where there's great target practice and I thought you'd like to look at it."
I stood up and said,"Sure." and went with him. It wasn't a place where I could have target practice. It was a lily field.
"Here," I heard InuYasha say. I looked to InuYasha and caught a small object.
I opened my hand to find an engagement ring. I looked up to see InuYasha right in front of me. He took the ring out of my hand and put it on my ring finger and held my hand.
"Would you..marry me Hiroko?" InuYasha's face was as red as mine probably was.
"Yes. A million times yes!" InuYasha and I hugged eachother and kissed.
"That took you long enough."
InuYasha and I broke apart to see Kikyo.
"Kikyo? What are you doing here?" I asked. She stepped up to us and gave me a hug.
"I knew InuYasha was planning this and I did not want to miss it. Have a good and happy life together." Then she walked away.
"Well at least she approves," I said.
When we got back to the hut and told everyone when they all got back there was congragulations, hugs, and Aneko hitting InuYasha for proposing even though she gave him her blessing.
