" Treasure of Luna "
1 Not Lifeless
Even though everyone – literally everyone I met before – told me how lucky truly I was to have a talent on fencing, I never paid attention to any praising. In fact, I was daydreaming while people passionately talked about my performances. My life was boredom. I needed something that would trigger me to be passionate, motivated or whoever I was before becoming a talented one whom many people looked up to.

Every day was an ordinary day like other days: nothing to do, but gazing up at a clear azure sky. Yes, it sounded again tedious, but to her, staring up at the sky is her favourite routine of dull and dreary days. Sky always greeted her with a beautifully polished colours that made her forget how boring her life was and for a short time – maybe a second, sky reminded who she really was in the past: zealous and enthusiastic. To Elva, sky appeared to have no limit; it was full of hope, dream and possibility. Well, simply sky was filled with things that she lacked.

"He was so charming! Oh, yes, yes and cute too!!"
Filled with enthusiasm, Jenny, Elva's best friend, was talking about her affection with this non-existing guy from the animation called Storm Hawks and his name was happened to be Aerrow. Although she had never watched that show and frankly did not want to know, thanks to Jenny, she knew almost everything about the stories and characters. As usual, she replied with a small smirk on her face.
"So- what did he do next? Save an entire Terra or somethin'?"
Smiling Jenny was so excited that she started clapping while walking. Elva was always curious how Jenny could do such a multi-tasking, but for now, never mind.
"Yup! He did. In fact, she saved a girl who looked exactly like you!"
I just could not believe what I heard. A girl who looked like me? That was just impossible.
"Jenny, seriously... seriously?"
She nodded with a smile.
Elva gave in and sighed, asking sheepishly which episode that was and promising her that she would watch that episode as soon as she got back home. Of course, there was nothing to do at home anyways. But watching this was sort of a torture to her, not because she thought it was childish or stupid, but because it reminded her limit – flying freely and fighting for your own moral. So she did not want to watch any of the episodes of Storm Hawks; however, she promised her excited friend that she would watch it and she knew her friend would ask questions in detail tomorrow to make sure that the promise was kept. So grimly, she opened up the file that Jenny sent and started to watch if her friend were right. Well, it was her: not only her look – long golden brown hair with turquoise eyes –, but also her habits that made her think of herself.
"What an earth this could..."
Next thing she knew was that something like a black hole was engulfing her body. After that, she fell into a deep sleep which she was not sure that she could wake up again.

When Elva woke up, the first thing she saw was a fiery red-head boy staring down at her with a concern. This was weird. No, to exactly put it, impossible. This guy just happened to look like Jenny's crush, a non-existing guy from an animation which Elva hated to watch. Silent continued until he slowly moved his lips.
"Are you alright? If I would recall what just happened, you were falling from the sky which did not make sense... but your safety was priority."
This young man was exactly how Jenny, her best buddy, described; genuinely nice, charming and a good manner. She observed. Her stare made him nervous; something about her was bothering Aerrow. He felt as if he were stripped down in front her or as if she knew him too well... Despite awkwardness between two of them, she had no intention to improve it. Simply, she had nothing to say, because she did not know what to say. But to be polite, she answered.
"Yes, I'm fine. Thanks for saving me...(whispering) although I don't remember it.."
She shyly smiled at him and in return, she received one of the most amazing smiles she had ever seen. In that moment, something just hit her; she felt something inside which she could not possibly understood.
For a second, both of them stared at each other dumbfounded. Then, far from the above came the voice.
"Dude, what's going on? You guys alright?"
Moving away from Elva, Aerrow shouted that two were fine. Again with a charming smile which made her blush, he escorted her to his skimmer and introduced his co-pilot, Radarr.
"We will be flying over to our Condor, so don't you worry."
A certain confidence of him made her comfortable; as she heard an engine starting, she grabbed his waist so she wouldn't fall like before. That once more, made Aerrow uneasy for some reason. When they got back to the condor, all the crews of Storm Hawks came over to ask all kinds of questions.
"Where are you from?"
Should she say that she was from an earth? She was not sure if an earth was an existing planet in this world, although she still thought she was daydreaming. To be safe, she decided to play like she lost her memory.
"Ah...can't remember. I think I lost my memory or somethin'"
A yellow-headed guy pinned her down with a suspicion. Acting was not easy for Elva, although she successfully managed to trick him with a help from Junko who naively said.
"Finn, I'm pretty sure she bumped into something while falling and lost her memory."
This time, a high and optimistic tone of voice asked.
"Do you remember your name though?"
"Sure...sure, I do. Ah! My name is Elva..."
And she smiled to show them her satisfaction for remembering her name. It looked like everyone was buying what she was doing. They started to introduce themselves with their unique style.
"Finn. The lady's man!"
"Junko. I love eating anything"
"Piper and I'm crystal specialist, and navigator."
"Stork. Do you have any mindworm? If you do, never think about coming near me or I will kill you!"
"Um, sorry. Stork is a little bit paranoid. Well, my name is Aerrow, and like I said this is my co-pilot, Radarr!"
Elva smiled at everyone and said.
"Thank you for your kindness, but I should go now."
Everyone looked confused. But Piper managed to ask a critical question.
"To where? Down is a wasteland where no human beings can live and our condor is detecting nothing but few sky sharks."
Realizing that she was in an animation called Storm Hawks, Elva could not hold her legs still, and her body collapsed to the ground. She knew she had to do something before her parents find out that she was gone. She had to go back where she belonged, but it seemed impossible. In fact, she did not know how and why she came here to this world. She started to think why she was summoned to here. Was it something related to her fencing skill? No. Was it related to an invisible power that she never really knew before? Impossible. She believed in no magic. That was too childish. Then what was so special about her? She was as same as other human beings. She was no extraordinary; maybe she was better in fencing than others but it was not something surprising.
Everyone looked either shocked or bewildered from her reaction. She seemed concerned about something. On top of that, she looked like she was in another world or something. She finally snapped out of wherever she was and asked for help.
"Can you guys teach me how to be a sky knight?"
Elva decided to enjoy the situation a little bit.
