Crush! Crush, Crush!

Summary: I got a lot to say to you. I noticed your eyes are always glued to me, keeping them here, and it makes no sense at all. Nothing compares to a quiet evening alone. That never happened. I guess I'm dreaming again. Let's be more than this. Amuto-Oneshot

Amu leaned on her balcony railing as she stared up at the beautiful night sky. She looked over her shoulder to see her Chara's sleeping in their eggs already.

She turned around quickly when she heard a cat mew, but it turned out to only be a stray passing through. Sighing, she gazed back up to the sky once more as images of Ikuto in her head. They hadn't seen each other in a few weeks since she had gotten Dia back.

I got a lot to say to you
Yeah, I got a lot to say
I noticed your eyes are always glued to me
Keeping them here
And it makes no sense at all

"Miss me already?" the voice whispered into her ear. A shiver went down her spine as she quickly turned around to see Ikuto standing all to close to her.

"N-no," she stuttered as a blush had crossed her face. She looked up at him and tried to keep herself from freaking out and waking up her guardians. To Ikuto's luck, and Amu's dismay, her family had gone away for a weekend vacation to an audition for Ami.

"W-Why… I-Ikuto?" she mumbled under her breath as she looked away. Just looking into her eyes would make her lose all sense of reality. She flinched when his head started to decline towards her own once more, but she stood her ground (A/N: Not like she could move anyway since the railing is behind her. XD).

"Because… Your mine Amu," he whispered into her ear once more. A chill covered her body as her heart skipped a beat to how he said her name.

"Wha-?" She began, but stopped when he took out his Dumpty Key and pointed at her lock with his other hand.

"That's why," he stated simply to the question she didn't even get the chance to voice, "You are the rightful owner of the Humpty Lock, and I the Dumpty Key. Our destiny is bound together."

Crush. Crush, crush.

Nothing compares to a quiet evening alone
Just the one, two I was just counting on
That never happened
I guess I'm dreaming again
Let's be more than this

Amu's placed her hands on his chest and she got the courage to look up into his eyes questioningly.

"Bound… in what way Ikuto?" Amu whispered where only he could hear it, "What do they have anything to do with us being bound together?"

If you want to play it like a game
Well, come on, come on, let's play
Cause I'd rather waste my life pretending
Than have to forget you for one whole minute

"Do you know why the key didn't fit the first time we tried?" He asked as he returned her gaze.

"N-no…" She responded solemnly.

"It was because you weren't sure about how you felt about me. The only way they'll fit will be when we realize what's between us," he said as he face got closer to hers and he whispered, "We're the only ones that can make the Key and Lock fit; therefore, your mine Hinamori Amu."

"B-But… w-what about E-Easter and U-Utau? She stuttered desperately trying to reduce the heat that had gathered to her face. Silently she had thanked Kami that the darkness hid most of her blush from him.

"What about them?" he raised an eyebrow at her.

"You're supposed to give them the embryo, aren't you? H-How do I-I know that this isn't just another trick? That and Utau told me she wouldn't lose to me… has she given up?" Amu said not wanting to get back to the previous subject.

"Utau will just have to get through her head that I'm her older brother and not her boyfriend," he said not liking the subject.

"Easter t-then?"

"I'd never give them the embryo… I left them a week ago actually…" he said as his eyes grew a bit dim at the literally painful memory. Amu looked at him worriedly but chose to say nothing for fear of stuttering some more.

Crush! Crush, crush.

"I-Ikuto?" Amu asked after she finally got sick of the awkward silence that had settled in.

"Look Amu," Ikuto said while looking at her seriously, "I know you might not believe it, but I really do care about you…"

Amu's eyes widened a bit as she looked at him. Is this a confession?! From Ikuto?! She thought at she mentally went over her feelings. I like Tadase right? Not Ikuto! But… Tadase only likes Amulet Heart… and Ikuto might actually like me for me… But what really is me?

Ikuto saw that Amu had confused herself in thought by the expression on her face. He laughed lightly at her and decided to bring her back to reality. Leaning down his lips covered hers as he locked her in a passionate kiss.

Well no one ever said he had to do it the easy way.

Amu's eyes widened, but she got used to the feeling quickly and decided she liked it a little to much for her own good. Reluctantly, Amu returned his kiss and wrapped her arms around his neck to deepen it.

A smirk crept onto his face at her actions as he knew he had gotten her attention now. Wrapping his arms around her they stayed like that for a good minute before they decided to stop and look at each other once more.

"It seems I have your full attention now, huh Amu?" Ikuto asked as he lowered his head to her neck and nibbled on the sensitive crook of it, earning yet another shiver from the girl. A slight moan escaped her mouth which made her squeak at her own actions.

Ikuto couldn't help but laugh at this and trail kisses up her neck. When he felt satisfied with his work, he pulled his head back a little and locked his gaze with her own once more.

Rock and roll, baby
Don't you know that we're all alone now?
I need something to sing about
Rock and roll, hey

"Do you believe me yet, Amu-koi?" he said as he kept his gaze.

"H-Hai Ikuto," she said as she pulled herself to him and kissed his cheek, "I believe you." Her gaze softened as she looked back at him in the moons light.

"Good," he said as she pulled her in for a chaste kiss.

Looking at where the moon was in the sky, he put on his famous smirk, which Amu knew meant another unneeded comment from the peanut gallery was on its way. (A/N: One of my friends loves saying that last part and I just had to put it there. XD For those of you who don't get it, the peanut gallery is usually the critics or onlookers.)

"Aren't young girls supposed to be in bed by now?" he playfully inquired.

"Yes, but then again normal girls my age don't have to worry about stalkers on their balconies," she retorted slyly at him, but only earned a bigger smirk.

"Well then we don't want any stalkers on here tonight," he said as he pulled her back into her room and shut the door behind himself, "So we'll just have to keep them in here."

No, oh

A blush crossed her cheeks at his actions, but it went away as his lips covered her mouth once more. Before she knew what was happening, they were both on the bed with Ikuto hovering over her.

"I-Ikuto!" she stammered but was hushed once more.

"Shh. We don't want your Chara's waking up to find us like this now do we?" he inquired playfully.

Lying beside her, he earned questioning look from Amu. Pulling the covers over their bodies and wrapping his arms around her waist, Ikuto smirked at the squeak produced by his current captive.

"This might be an OK position for them to find us in though," he stated as he pulled her closer to himself.

Amu sighed at his childish actions, but snuggled up closer to him none the less.

"Goodnight Ikuto," she whispered to him and she fought back a yawn.

"Goodnight Amu-koi," he said as he kissed her one last time for the night, "I love you."

Amu returned the kiss, but was surprised by him saying this to her a little. She shook it off and responded to Ikuto trying not to stammer to much with it.

"I-I love you too, Ikuto," she replied and closed her eyes. A peaceful sleep had soon taken them into the wonderful land of their dreams of one another, finally bringing the long night to an end.
