PERCY
Percy ran his fingers along Annabeth's bead necklace as he sat on the coastline of Indonesia, where he had blindly fled to avoid the other campers. Annabeth. Wise Girl. One of the greatest demigods who've ever lived. The one who had sacrificed her life a week ago to save the world, stopping Tartarus but getting herself killed. His wife that promised him he'd be a father. How Percy wanted to barge into the Underworld and demand Hades give back her soul. Alas, her soul was there in Chaos. At least according to the gods. No matter how hard Percy's friends tried to convince him with messages via Iris, he knew the gods were hiding Annabeth somewhere. As he looked up, a cloud of rainbow mist formed. Leo's elfish face appeared. "Aw, come on, Percy! You shouldn't be fasting like that Muslim girl, Samirah! I know you're sad, but-" "GO AWAY!" Percy screamed, slashing the Iris-message with Riptide, hacking away at a couple of trees, then stabbing Riptide in the sand. He looked at the tide, washing in slowly and pulling back. That's how he felt about the gods. Giving him a hero's life, but hiding the most important person in his life( other than his mom). If he wanted the power to make Olympus respect him, or just demigods in total, he needed to be a god. OR…he looked at the sea once more…destroy a god. He stood up, pulled Riptide from the sand, and smirked at the waves, which seemed afraid. "Sorry, Dad...I've got business." Then he dove into the Pacific Ocean, off to kick some god-butt.
