I don't think you'll be unhappy,

What if people are mean to you?
What if you try to defend yourself,
But you can't?
Or people are so cruel,
That you start feeling badly,
Like you're not normal;

What if your best friend ditches you,
Just because they don't believe,
In what you believe?
What if your parents are disappointed?
What if they love you less?
What if you push your friends away,
Because they can't possibly understand,
Because you're different now?
What if you don't tell anyone else,
And you want to, but you're afraid?
And you keep it all bottled up inside,
Because you don't want to be rejected,
So you live feeling loved, but wondering,
Would they still love me if they knew?
What if they wouldn't?
I'll stick with you no matter what,
I'll support you in every endeavor,
Because that's just what BFFLs do.
Because I love you.
But I'm scared.
What if you leave me?
