Author: Hi, fellow readers/writers! Just so you know, I was bored when I came up with this, so be easy, okay?

Disclaimer: I do not own Total Drama Island. If I did, then Izzy or Gwen would have won.

Why? Why does this always happen to me? Just when I start to feeling happy, something terrible happens. What did I do to deserve this?

Gwen was lying in her bunk, to heart-broken about Trent leaving to get any sleep.

She tossed and turned, trying to think of something calming, but found none so far. Suddenly, an image of Heather getting stung repeatedly by killer bees popped into her mind.

She smiled, but she still couldn't fall asleep.

She stood up, grabbed a sweater, and stepped outside.

She walked to the dock of shame, remembering all of the times she and Trent spent here; When they first met, when they felt like just hanging out here, when he went swimming and she sketched him...when he left the island, leaving her like this...

She sat on the edge of the dock, gazing up at the starry sky. She started to find constellations. She then remembered the awake-a-thon challenge, and how she and Trent found the big and little dipper, while keeping each other awake at the same time.

At this time, Gwen felt a sudden wetness on her face.

She raised her hand to her cheek, seeing that she was crying.

Gwen tried to blink the other tears away, but found herself surrendering to the depression that was overcoming her.

She closed her eyes, chanting the same thing in her head over and over;

Why did you have to go? Why? Why?

When she opened her eyes, she realized that she lied down on the dock.

She started trying to get back to her bunk, only to find that her body was too paralyzed from heartbreak to move. And after several minutes of yelling at her body to get up, she lied back down, surrendering to the fact that she can't move.

She realized that her body wouldn't move because of the many memories that she and Trent shared here.

Her mind submitted to her body's pleas, and just let her body lie there until she finally fell asleep, dreaming of her memories with Trent.

These next few weeks are going to be miserable.

Author: Now that I read this over, I have to say that this story is sucky. I'm still keeping it up anyway, just so you know.
