Half Moon

Author's note: This is my first pokemon fanfiction! Wish me luck! I've actually planned this for awhile. Anyway, it's kind of based on any pokemon mystery dungeon game, minus the mystery dungeons. Oh, I'm so excited! Let's read!

Disclaimer: I don't own anything. If I did, this would b a game right now. Oh, I do own Lucy.

Prologue

I smiled as the morning sun shone gently onto my face. The warmth felt so good that I just wanted to stand in one place for all eternity. Just then, something green flitted across the path. I turned towards where it had just been and grinned widely. It was a pokemon of some sort and probably one I wished to catch. I skipped after it through the woods until we reached a cliff. I could clearly see the pokemon now; a Celebi. I felt butterflies in my stomach. If I could just reach some ultra balls in my pocket without scaring it off…

The Celebi turned around and I froze. We locked eyes for a brief moment before it screamed, flying to the end of the cliff. I groaned and walked after it again slowly. I peeked over the edge to see Celebi just sitting on a lower ledge only a small distance below. I also saw a drop that was about fifty feet high. I figured that I could reach the Celebi easily, so I reached my arm out towards it. Celebi stared at me as if to tease me until my hand was only a few inches away from its face. It jumped then somehow created a strange portal-like thing. I paused to gawk at it when I fell. A scream escaped my mouth and I saw something fly towards me. I winced as I felt claws dig into my waist, saving me. I looked up just in time to see the pitch black hands slip and let go of me, hurling me into the portal.

The last thing I heard was "No!" which didn't come from me. After that I was engulfed by the portal's supernatural powers.
