He shrieked in pain as she hit him mercilessly on his burns from last week's incident with the iron. All he had done was say hello to Carly in passing but Sam was paranoid about someone stealing Freddie from her and had been sure to launch an almost instant attack on him as soon as the apartment door had clicked shut. Her attack ended almost as instantly as it had begun, leaning down to cup his face in her hands, she kissed him softly on the lips then moved away quickly, leaving him to think up yet another excuse to explain the angry red welts that were already forming on his skin. He staggered up the stairs to find the well- used first aid kit. He loved Sam so much but all he got was pain in return but he could put up with it if it meant he could see the normal, crazy, feisty Sam he fell in love with appear once in a while and this was why he stayed with her. Freddie was simply too soft- hearted to leave her on her own, they had always looked out for each other. Sam walked in and smiled at him for the first time in months, she put band aids on all of his cuts and kissed them all better and she kissed his tears away, it was moments like these that made Freddie stay, he loved Sam too much to let her go.
