Unfit to Survive

A/N: What if the Debutante tried to kill her son before she died?

She screamed louder as her belly split open to reveal what had been twisting and turning inside her, terrified beyond her nightmares to see something like a mutated infant she had just given birth to.

It was dark red, bloody, crying and panting as it looked around the bathroom.

As she felt weakened by the blood loss, she felt she was going to die, but the next thought that occurred was the only one that made sense to her: She had to kill this thing before she died because of it. Getting her upper bearings, she grabbed the infant by its neck, turning it around and started to strangle it.

The infant creature, having just emerged from its mother and taking its first breaths, didn't understand why this female that it was still connected to was attacking it, but felt ruled by some sort of sense that it needed to protect itself from her. Opening its mouth, it unleashed its tongue at her and wrapped it around her neck.

She couldn't believe that this creature that wasn't an innocent child was trying to kill her. If it wasn't the open hole in her stomach and blood loss that would end her, it was being suffocated by a mutant baby. Now, she had to kill this thing quickly.

"Aaugh!" She grunted, feeling weak in her arms as she started to lose consciousness. "Ugh!"

The baby, feeling the umbilical cord by its left leg, kicked as hard as it could, ripping itself free of her.

"Aaah!" She gasped, feeling something else tear away from her insides as the baby's tongue tightened around her neck.

Then, now completely deprived of air, the mother fell to floor, dead. She had lost the battle between human mother and inhuman child.

Now, with its future secured, the child waited for its father to come get it.

"Aaah!" A second scream came from afar in the other room, followed by a second cry.

A/N: Went back to this after finishing my fortieth chapter of Hope from the Sky and finding out which story one of my chapters that hasn't been worked on belonged to. I hope readers like this story.
