A/N: Kind of random. I wrote this when I was sitting on the beach. If you've been to OC before, then you'll get it. If not, you might be a little confused. Oh well. Disclaimer

Severus found himself walking along the boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland. Wearing a tee shirt and swim trunks, of all things. He looked down at the hand in his and knew that it was worth it. Hermione had insisted that they needed to go someplace with actual sunlight this summer, not just the occasional filter from the clouds. And who was he to deny her? She had a good point after all. And she may have given him that adorable little look that she knew he couldn't possibly say no to. It didn't really matter how she convinced him, just that they were at the beach.
They had been walking for quite a while, and Severus was beginning to get a little annoyed at the looks Hermione was getting. He knew the men couldn't help themselves, she did look incredible in her Gryffindor red bikini. It didn't keep him from wanting to punch their teeth out, though. Letting go of Hermione's hand, he wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close. A smile was all that was needed to calm him. She never let him down.
The couple continued walking for a bit before Hermione let out a gasp, pulling away from him.
"Dumser's!" She spun around to face him, practically jumping up and down in excitement. "CanwegoSevplease?" She spoke so quickly that it all came out as one giant rushed word.
Severus just stood there, casually moving to the side to allow people to walk around him. She'd been raving about this "Dumser's" since he had told her that he would take her to the beach. Apparently they had fantastic ice cream and such things. Hermione ran up to him, throwing her arms around his neck, puppy dog eyes set to full capacity.
"Please Sev?"
Severus just shook his head, still amazed at how she got so excited over the simplest things.
"Of course we can, silly girl." With a squeal and a quick kiss, Hermione took off running to get in line.
Letting a smile cross his face, Severus followed her, preparing himself for yet another new experience.
Chocolate milkshakes.

A/N: I didn't get a ton of feedback from most of last week's one-shots, but one or two people asked me to expand some parts of them. If enough people want me to, then I'll be more than happy to do so, but you've got to let me know. I appreciate it.
Also, I miss the beach. Just felt the need to say it now that I'm home.
