The hall was filled with girls greeting each other when the front doors opened and Headmistress Morgan strolled through followed by the usual twenty teachers. That still didn't explain the twenty-two chairs.

As soon as the other teachers were seated she asked, "Women of the Gallagher Academy, who comes here?"

Everyone stood and responded with the usual, "We are the sisters of Gillian."

"Why do you come?"

"To learn her skills. Honor her sword. And keep her secrets."

"To what end do you work?"

"To the cause of justice and light."

"How long will you strive?"

"For all the days of our lives." With that we all sat down.

Headmistress Morgan continued to stand. "Welcome back, students" She said, beaming. "This is going to be a wonderful year here at the Gallagher Academy. For our newest members," she turned to look at the table of seventh graders, "welcome. You are about to begin most challenging year of your young lives. Rest assured that you would not have been given this challenge were you not up to it. To our returning students, this year will mark many changes. We have come to a time when-" But before she could finish, the doors flew open, and not even years of training could have prepared everyone for what they saw.

There was a man there. Not just any man, he was a man that could make James Bond feel insecure. "Sorry I'm late." He said sliding into one of the two empty chairs.

Though it seemed the end of all the excitement there was one more surprise for them all. The door's swung open again and a girl with boyish short hair, a slouch that should cause permanent injury, and a huge baggy hoody came walking in. She hurried as much as her slouch would allow and sat in the remaining chair.

"This is This is Arya Mikschev our new security manager. I wasn't notified that you arrived."

"I was testing security. It sucks. I told you I would be a week later because I thought it would pose a challenge. Unfortunately it took me two hours to disable everything and temporarily rid myself of your security guards." Arya said in a bored tone.

"Interesting." Mrs. Morgan said frowning. "Well that is the last of your surprises for today lady's, dig in!"
