Ben 10 Crossover Fun Facts from Jade, Q and Cupcake

These are fun facts about our stories that we've posted, deleted and had ideas about. We had no idea where to post this so we did it here. You can use this for information next time you read some of our stories. More later on.

RWBBYVerse Fun Facts:

Ben was originally meant to be with Weiss from the start but this was changed in favor of Yang due to their matching personalities and synergy should they ever actually meet. Hints of us doing this are parts where we made Weiss the only one who seems to have feelings for Ben aside from Yang in the whole team. This "Ben x Weiss" stuff was later reused in later chapters to add more drama between Ben, Weiss and Yang. Time will tell if we'll continue to ride the TennySchnee ship or eventually get on board again with Golden Emerald (Ben x Yang).

Each of the RWBY girls, as well as team JNPR, have different favorite aliens. Ruby loves all of them, but mostly XLR8 and Fasttrack, Weiss hates to admit she likes Feedback and Big Chill, Blake secretly likes Rath due to finding him funny, Yang loves Heatblast, Jaune likes Four Arms, Nora likes all of Ben's explosive aliens like NRG, Heatblast, Ultimate Humungousaur, etc., Pyrrha has taken a liking to Lodestar for obvious reasons and Ren likes Grey Matter.

Velvet has always had a deep respect for Ben ever since he saved her from CRDL. Their relationship as good friends was initially intended to be an entire chapter but was scrapped due to Velvet's team being unknown at the time.

Heroes Never Die Fun Facts:

Ben was originally going to be bisexual, having tried to distance his identity from the original Ben he was cloned from, but this idea was later removed. It was replaced in favor of Ben being attracted to women of both human and Omnic descent. One of Ben's exes happens to be an Omnic as well.

Only Symmetra, Tracer, possibly Widowmaker, and later on Brigitte are the only women attracted to Ben romantically. Despite their teasing, D. Va only actually sees Ben as one of her best friends, as well as treating him like a big brother (the age difference also helps this case). Pharah sees Ben as a younger brother to protect. Mei and Ben are also friends, having been science buddies during the time of the original Overwatch. And of course, Mercy is the woman who adopted Ben as her own child. Moira, Sombra and Orisa's relationship with Ben will be later established in the future, with Sombra's on the way. Only two of them involve non-romantic relationships. Try to guess.

Before Tracer was revealed to be lesbian, she was going to be Ben's main love interest. When the reveal came, our plans got complicated and had to resort to turning our version Tracer bisexual. This would be later changed again into turning Tracer still lesbian but Ben's the only male she's attracted to. This is due to us finding articles that some lesbians in the LGBT community have sometimes found themselves attracted to a specific male they've been with for a long time. They still identified as lesbians due to never finding themselves attracted to other heterosexual males, just one guy they've developed a close relationship with. We plan to do this with Tracer eventually to make sure it sticks to her character while also us making her our own.

The reason Pharah and Genji are one of the main pairings is because of the jokes that both characters are the ones mostly shipped with Mercy, but also because both characters are a lot more alike than one might think.

Never Lose Our Way Fun Facts:

To start, the fanfic was deleted and cancelled for a long time due to us having no idea to write back then. After gaining more experience, we eventually planned to return the fanfic again, this time with more creativity.

For those wondering, yes, Ryuko x Ben x Satsuki will be a love triangle.

Skullgirls Avant-Garde Fun Facts:

First off, no, Ben, Filia and Carol/Painwheel won't be a harem. They're all platonic close friends.

The decision to make this crossover was to make something that involves a crossover of an obscure piece of media and Ben 10. This is us trying to challenge ourselves by making a crossover that involves two franchises that have very little in common but trying to make it work.

Another decision to make Ben not use the Omnitrix, and instead have a guardian spirit that fights for him ala Jojo Stands, was due to us a bit tired of the same old concept of him transforming over and over again, so we tried mixing it up a bit by having his powers used by a spirit/goddess under his command.

"Avante-Garde" are, according to the dictionary and art school, the artists, writers, and musicians whose ideas, styles, and methods are highly original or modern in the period in which they live, as well as new and unusual or experimental ideas, especially in the arts, or the people introducing them. This is in reference to the fact that Skullgirls is a very stylish game and often has filming themes surrounding its stlye (instead of "Ready? Fight!", it's "Ladies and Gentlemen, It's Showtime!" and instead of "KO!" it's "Cut!"; the character selection as well as the opening intro to the game has lots of film reels being used; the character posters are often seen as film posters, especially Peacock's), as well as the fact that a crossover between Ben 10 AND Skullgirls is very, VERY unusual.

Other Fun Facts:

There were plans to collab with Ultimate 10, CaptainRex75 and Incredible Muffin for a Multiversal Tournament akin to Dragon Ball Super's Tournament of Power, involving RWBBYVerse, Ultimate Fairy, Avenging 10 and Unlimited Justice but was scrapped due to being complicated and the other authors being busy.

Just Q of Jade-Q-and-Cupcake is the main writer of the whole crew, with Jade doing most of the story ideas and Cupcake there for second opinion and providing additional ideas. Just Q also occasionally writes stories for CaptainRex75 due to them being good friends.

For preferences, Jade's favorite fanfic is Ultimate Fairy by Ultimate 10, Just Q's favorite is Avenging 10 by CaptainRex75 and Cupcake's favorite is Bleach: Ultimate Alien by Bigby the Big Bad Wolf.

There were plans to make a Ben 10 x Fate: Apocrypha, with our first bisexual Ben being with Astolfo, the similarly bisexual trap boy. This was scrapped due to not having enough time to watch all of Fate: Apocrypha. But Cupcake was dead set on making that the main ship.

The Battleborn crossover was deleted due to all three writers growing from tolerating Battleborn to finally hating it due to its terrible attempts in humor, terrible and chaotic gameplay and overall bad story. Paladins: Ultimate Champions was made (on Just Q's page) due to the game being genuinely fun, having great background lore and the characters actually being likeable (except Bomb King).

True Omniverse was deleted due to Jade mostly regretting making it and does not want to talk about it again. But she didn't say anything about Q talking about it.

Out of all our fanfics, our favorite is always Heroes Never Die, not RWBBYVerse (we have so many regrets on that story).

As of recently, we're trying to make chapters longer than usual, trying to stay only 9000 words and above, never below.
