"Glad that we cleared that up..." Kensi said and turned around.
Deeks opened his mouth, but the words he wanted to say didn't come out.
Frowning he opened the letter from Hetty and laughed at its content.
"Sunshine and Gunpowder"
He knew somewhere, probably in her office, the little ninja was watching him, maybe drinking tea with that mysterious smile on her face.
Suddenly it hit him and he jumped up.
Kensi must've left by now.
He ran down the corridor and through the office .
He came to a halt and looked around.
Deeks head jerked around, as he heard a soft voice saying "Ms Blye already left. If you hurry you may be able to catch up with her Mr Deeks"
"Thank you Hetty" he smiled grabbed his bag and jogged out of the building.
Deeks could see Kensi at her car, fidgeting with her keys trying to unlock the door.

Her hands were shaking and she swore under her breath when the keys fell to the ground.
Deeks who had walked up to her, bend down and grabbed them.
"Here" he murmured and gave them to her.
Kensi hadn't realized she had company until now.
"Ehm yeah, thank you"
His fingers brushed hers as he handed the keys over and Deeks didn't miss the shudder that was running through her.
"Kens" he began.
"I thought we talked about this. I'm fine!" She snapped
"Come on you and I both know, that you always say you're fine when you're not."He said a bit annoyed.
Kensi huffed "Maybe you just don't know me as well as you think"
"I'm sure I know you pretty well. I know for example when you're jealous, like now , which by the w..."
Kensi interrupted him "I'm not jealous"
Deeks just went on as if she hadn't said anything. "... Which by the way is absolutely ridiculous because I feel nothing for Monica"
Kensi wasn't looking at him.
"Didn't exactly look that way, when you kissed her" she said quietly
"Come on that's what we do, we make it look real. We act for the cameras or people around us to save the world"
Kensi didn't look like she believed him.
Deeks closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
"You wanna know what real feels like?"
And with that he leaned down and placed a lingering kiss on her lips.
As he pulled back Kensis eyes remained closed.
"Are you trying to save the world?"
She whispered.
Deeks grinned "Not particularly in this moment, no"
" Good" She said, than she pulled his head down and kissed him.
It was long and sweet passionate but not messy.

It was just them.
