The Gleevamps

Principal Figgins was leaving his office later than he usually liked; the sun had already set and he could hear the janitor begin to leave. He was fiddling around in his suit jacket pocket for the key to the high school's main door when he heard a scream. His first thoughts were to hide, but despite his supernatural fears, he was an educator first... so he ran. He turned a corner with more speed than he planned and slid on the freshly waxed floor, narrowly missing a row of lockers. He froze at what he saw.

The floor was scattered with books and paper, and a cosmetic of some kind rolled until it hit his foot and shuddered to a stop. The vampire girl was there again: her black cloak was spread around her, hair was hanging wildly (doubtlessly hiding her blood red eyes from him), her sharp fangs were glinting through lips red with blood. He realised, with a shock of pure terror, what was keeping her attention away from him. Laid over her lap was a sickly pale boy who hung limply in her arms, head supported only by her hand, as she sucked on his exposed neck. The principal recognised him as the boy with the incredibly scary father, and he gulped as he saw blood begin to trickle down and stain the boy's blue shirt.

Holding his breath, he took a small step backwards, foot squeaking against the floor. She looked up suddenly and hissed in anger, blood running down her chin, and she looked ready to rise from her position when Figgins ran from the corridor, faster than any high school track student could ever manage.

Tina turned her eyes away from where her principal had stood, instead searching the face of the boy in her lap. She had to admit he looked scary, with his powdered face paler than usual. He almost looked asleep, until his lips twitched and formed a light smirk before they both descended into giggles. Looking at the state of each other, their giggles turned into full on laughter. Both had smeared in enough fake blood to make a horror movie, with Tina looking like a murderer and he the undead.

"You'd think...after the third time...it would stop being funny."

Kurt helped Tina to her feet and they left the school through the wide-open main doors. Upon spotting the principal desperately trying to start his car, they both smiled and waved before walking away hand in hand.
