The detective,
So smart,
L,
Is his name,
Working on a case,
To beat Kira,
At his own game.
The death note,
Killing many lives,
Must be stopped,
Before he dies.
Is it reality?
The shinigami,
Follows Kira,
With every step he takes,
Only seen by few peoples,
A deadly creature to meet.
Kira is slowly winning,
Rising to victory.
Criminals are dying,
And the person behind it all,
Light Yagami.
