DESCENT INTO DARKNESS.
(Set during season 4 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.) When Anakin finds out that Obi-wan faked his death, he turns to the darkside. Resorting to kidnapping Padme to keep her at his side, Anakin vows to get his revenge for the Jedi's betrayal.
PROLOGUE.
Anakin walked into the room, stopping to stand before Master Yoda. "You summoned me Master?"
Yoda turned to face him, "Wrong to deceive you, it was." The Jedi master said, "But much at stake, there is."
Anakin stared at the ancient Jedi, "So I was right?! Obi-wan is still alive!"
"Skywalker, a powerful Jedi you are, yet unpredictable, and dangerous, you can be... To both your friends, and enemies." Yoda told him, "For Obi-wan, on your patients, everything depends."
Anakin couldn't believe it, Yoda had known Obi-wan was alive, the entire Council probably knew as well, and none of them had told him! "How could you keep this from me?! You all let me believe Obi-wan was dead!" If they had lied about something like this, what else had the Jedi kept from him? Anger raged within him, the same anger that had fueled him when he had slaughtered the Tusken Raiders that had killed his Mother.
"For our plan to succeed, necessary, the deception was." Yoda shook his head, "Calm you must be Skywalker-"
"You lied to me! Used my feelings towards Obi-wan to make your plan succeed! And you want me to be calm!" The anger surged through him, urging him to attack... His lightsaber was in his hand, igniting as he scowled at Yoda. "How dare you?!"
He brought his lightsaber down in a ferocious slash-
That was blocked by Yoda's green lightsaber, "Down this path, you should not go."
"I am through listening to you!" Why he had ever listened to the Jedi Master, he would never know. Pushing Yoda's lightsaber back, he struck again, a fast, feint to the left-
That was again blocked, easily, by Yoda.
The rage within him grew, snarling, Anakin thrust out a hand, pushing with old Jedi back, watching with satisfaction as he slammed hard into the wall. Scowling, Anakin turned on his heel, stalking from the room. he was through with the Jedi, through with the Republic...
Padme...
Anakin strode to the Temple's hanger, leaping into his airspeeder...
He had to have Padme with him, she was the only one who hadn't betrayed him.

Padme stared at Anakin in shock, "What are you talking about?" She couldn't just leave, and she certainly wasn't going with him when he was like this. "Anakin, you can't be serious-"
"The Jedi betrayed me Padme!" Anakin's voice was an angry snarl, "They knew Obi-wan was alive, and they didn't tell me!"
"Obi-wan's alive?" That was good news, Obi-wan would be able to reach Anakin and stop him from going through with his plans.
"Not for long," Anakin scowled, "he deceived me..." Looking at Padme, Anakin shook his head, "We have to leave, now."
"Ani, no." Shaking her head, Padme took a step away from him, "We can't just leave-"
"Come on," Anakin gripped her arm, gently, but forcefully, dragging her out of their apartments.
Padme tried to pull free from his grasp, "Let me go!"
"You will come with me Padme," Anakin didn't look at her as he strode back to his airspeeder. "We will create our own new Order, and we will eradicate the Jedi from the galaxy."
