Stargazer's final battle.
The Ferengi ship fired at Stargazer again. The command bridge shook as the shields failed and smoke floated everywhere. "Identify yourself!" Jean-Luc Picard screamed, "We are merely defending our ship. Once again I demand…your name."
There was no response from the massive battle cruiser.
On the command bridge of the Ferengi ship, it was almost the same story. Donf, the Ferengi captain was asking, "Why are you attacking? We were firing our lasers on the lowest setting!"
Sparks were flying everywhere on both ships, screams of pain and terror were heard.
Then, after Stargazer's sickbay was totally blasted off the ship, Picard exclaimed, "All right, that's it! Launch torpedoes."
"Yes captain, preparing launch tubes."
"Torpedo power building."
"We've fired."
The massive ball of energy flew through space, and at that instant the Ferengi ship exploded…but not because of Stargazer.
"Captain, the unidentified vessel has been destroyed, but we have a lot of damaged. The hull seems to be breached at present, but we'll fix it soon enough." Reported first officer John R. Nathens.
"Ah. Now, before we get onto that John, I want you to cut the alarms-the emergency is over." Replied a dizzy Jean-Luc.
"No it isn't sir," said security chief Dorobella Richardson worryingly, "Another unidentified vessel is approaching. I think that one destroyed the attacking ship."
"Is it armed?"
"Yes, but with weapons far beyond our own. I'm picking up technological and biological weapons aboard."
"Open hailing frequencies."
"All hailing frequencies open."
"This is Captain Jean-Luc Picard of federation starship Stargazer. I request your identity."
The only thing that appeared on screen was a gold flying saucer flying through the debris of the Ferengi ship. Suddenly just as Picard was about to hail again, the screen turned to a view of a large room. It was filled with 'honeycomb' columns and was completely empty, and after about five minutes of waiting, a black battle machine entered, followed by a dozen gold battle machines.
"You are an enemy of the Daleks. You will be exterminated. Exterminate, Exterminate, EXTERMINATE!"
