Bio-Devil: Hello everyone I'm back! With the rewrite of my first fanfiction, the Force Dragon Slayer.
Dante: At least he's learned to check his grammar and spelling.
Bio-Devil: Shut it Dante! Anyway I hope you like the rewrite version of my story. I'm very excited about it and plan to get to work on the first chapter right away.
Dante: Right now he's just giving you a prologue so he can get some peace and quiet and have a goo enough reason to goof off for a bit.
Bio-Devil: Zip it! Now since I can't trust you to speak I'll just say it. I do not own Fairy Tail, and please enjoy the prologue.
Prologue: Rise of the Force Dragon Slayer
I sat in my "room" angrily and looked out the window and towards the forest near the large mansion recently turned prison. Someone opened my door and calmly walked inside.
"Master Sebastian," the man began making me clench my fist in anger. "Your father is requesting an audience with you." I didn't speak; my name isn't Sebastien so he clearly isn't speaking to me.
"Master Sebastian?" I loathe that name, especially the part where everyone clearly thinks it belongs to me. The man sighed and walked out, then later came a plump, strict woman that held a discipline wand within her meaty hands.
"Sebastian Ajagara!" she bellowed but I kept silent. I hated the last name more than the first. "Speak when you have been addressed!" I haven't been addressed you idiotic loudmouth! I thought angrily but didn't show it. She stomped over towards me readying the wand. She swung but I grabbed it and pulled her in and punch her in the face. As she sprawled backwards, crying believe it or not, I walked up to her breaking her wands in half.
"You want me to speak?" I asked throwing the pieces of her wand at her. "Then you address me by my name, my real name. Dante, Leonidas. You got that?" She didn't answer, she just kept crying as she crawled out into the hallway. "You didn't answer me," I called out walking to the doorway and watched her crawl away. "You set a bad example!" I slammed the door and went back to continue glaring out the window. I've been trapped here for a month now by my "family". I honestly couldn't care less if I was an Ajagara, they were not my family, a family wouldn't abandon their youngest at birth, they wouldn't just take him in by force after accidently finding him, and they wouldn't stop him from trying to find his real father. Other than my sisters in the forest, here are only two people in this world that I consider family, my magic cat named Rex, I was seven when I gave him that name, who's missing, and my father, who I've been spending the last seven years of my life trying to find, the Force Dragon Odayaka, and the Ajagara's are getting in the way of that. I had to get out of here but I needed a plan. My "brothers" are pretty strong and they've already caught me more than a few times trying to escape. I heard a knocking on the door.
"Hey Bas," one their voices asked. "Can I come in?" Do they really think calling me a shortened version of Sebastian will get me to like them more?" I thought in disgust. I stayed silent, and he came in anyway.
"Can we talk?"
"No! Now get the hell out!" I said despite my desire to ignore them. My desire to avoid the Ajagara boys is even stronger apperantly.
"Come on, Bas…"
"That is not my name!"
"Sebastian…"
"That's not my name either! It's Dante! My name is Dante Leonidas not Sebastian Ajagara!" I looked angrily at the white haired boy in front of me, Cole Ajagara, a fake Smoke Dragon Slayer. Apparently the Ajagara's were the family that discovered the way to artificialize dragon slayer magic and they've been living a rich life for generations. They were all dragon slayers but I was the only real dragon slayer in the mansion right now.
"Look, whoever you are, we're just trying to make amends here…" I threw the nearest thing I could find at him but it just went through him, his magic turned his body into smoke whenever he wanted.
"You want make amends to someone? Go comfort that stupid nanny with the broken nose." Cole sighed and walked out shutting the door behind him. I kept seething in the room, I couldn't help but hate, even though Oda always said vengefulness was pointless and led to only led to more suffering and people losing their true selves to hatred. I wasn't going to let that happen not matter what they did. I used the solitude to my advantage to make a new plan of escape and use my past failed attempts as its foundation. Then all the pieces fell into place when I saw a red dot on a faraway tree. The butler walked in again and told me that my "father" still wanted to talk to me.
"*Sigh*, ah screw it," I said getting up. "Let's go see Victor." The butler happily escorted me through the hallway, thinking I finally accepted my situation. I swiped a metal saucer from an unattended table while he wasn't looking and after waiting until we came up to a certain window I smashed the saucer over his head. When he fell unconscious I leaped out the window and into the forest below. Then the trees came to life and moved to block my decent. Andrew, I thought. Before I could do anything the trees' leafy branches caught me and I fell through them and onto the forest floor on my back. I instantly wished I had my trench coat with me, when I put the hood over my head the fairy fabric allows me to blend into any background undetected and even with stand , but when these simpletons found me they threw it away somewhere. I got that coat from the fairies that took me in while I was looking for Oda about seven years ago; they taught me their magic and how to manipulate that coat to look like whatever I want. They became a second family for me and of course, they; try to block them out. I began running through the forest but I quickly ran into my three other "brothers". There was Andrew, a Forest Dragon Slayer, he had long red hair and wore all black, the thing is he looks extremely feminine and it's hard to tell whether he's a boy or a girl. Next there's Grant, a War Dragon Slayer, a muscular man with spiky black hair and would only cover his chest with an opened vest. And finally Yuki the Ice Dragon slayer, he's the oldest, he wears all blue and has shaggy blonde hair with a rough beard.
"Trying to escape again?" Andrew asked calmly.
"Do you ever learn?" Yuki asked slowly readying for the upcoming fight. They know I'm not going to come along quietly.
"I learn plenty," I said readying myself as well.
"Enough talk," Grant said as a red magic circle appeared above his fist. "Let's do this. War Dragon: War Blade!" The magic circle engulfed his arm and transformed it into a large curved blade. Andrew took a fallen leaf into his hand and powered it with his green magic circle.
"Forest Dragon: Leaf Sword!" As described that small leaf turned into a glowing green long sword, which he held in a fencing stance.
"Ice Dragon: Ice Weapon!" Yuki summoned cold air and turned it into a pole like weapon with a flat dragon skull on the end of it, the Ajagara family symbol.
"Force Dragon: Force Staff!" I slammed the curled thumb and pointer fingers of my fists together and when I pulled them away from each other a staff made of pale blue magic formed between them. I opened my fists to release the staff and twirled it around as I took my battle stance. I began breathing heavily as I faced the three, secretly consuming the Eternano in the air to both strengthen my magic and keep it at a steady level. I charged at them and they charged at me and our weapons collided. I was instantly knocked back but quickly stood up just in time to block Andrew's attack. Yuki tried to blindside me but I sidestepped away and Andrew took the blow. Grant rushed towards me, blade at the ready to slice. I ran towards him while my magic surrounded me and turned into a shape of a dragon with its wings spread out.
"Force Dragon: Wing Blitz!" I launched myself towards him, my magic boosting my speed. I rocketed into Grant's stomach and propelled him into a nearby tree. I jumped away and then had to start dodging and blocking Yuki and Andrews attacks. I expertly twirled my force staff side-to-side to block both attacks and when all three of us parried I flung their weapons up, jumped, curled into a ball in midair, and began charging up my magic.
"Force Dragon: Wave!" A wave of my magic took out both Andrew and Yuki. Then Grant grabbed me from behind, strong arms pressing mine to my chest tightly.
"Not going anywhere now," he said smugly.
"That's what you think!" I made a magic circle under both of us and yelled. "Force Dragon: Launcher!" We were both launched into the air and Grant couldn't help but let go. "Force Dragon: Power Punch!" My magic focused into my fist and I punched Grant in the face as hard as I could. He fell to the ground like a sack overstuffed with bricks and I later followed doing my best to land on my feet but I stumbled and had to support myself on my hands. I was running low on magic, and even with the Eternano I was consuming it was going to take some time until I was completely recharged. I tried to run into the forest but was caught by Andrew's Rose Whip. I tried to free myself but it was too late.
"So close yet so far," Andrew mocked as he and Yuki walked closer to me.
"Ice Dragon: Ice, Legacy…" His Ice Weapon tapped the ground and I was instantly frozen in a block of ice.
They took me into Victor Ajagara's room, my supposedly biological father. He had neatly combed brown, graying hair with a full beard and wore clothes fit for a king. He claims a Time Dragon Slayer though I've never seen him use magic. Cole came in and thawed me out using his smoke. As soon as I was thawed out Victor smacked me in the face.
"Dad…" Cole mumbled.
"Silence Cole, he has disobeyed me, so he must be punished." He grabbed my hair and yanked me up so he could look at me face to face. "Did you really think you could escape this time? I envisioned you in the forest, I alerted your brothers of you and they easily brought you back here." Victor apparently has the ability to see visions of the future. But nothing is clear so he has to guess what's happening, or what's going to happen. He threw me to the floor and walked toward a portrait of him and his four sons, he planned to force me to be in a new portrait with all of them. "We are your true family, the sooner you forget about that dragon and the cat and accept us the better."
"Like hell I will," I sneered at him. "As long as I live I will never stop trying to get away from you people. And when I do get away, I promised you, you will be thoroughly humiliated."
"Hmph. You will never be able to pull the wool over my eyes and escape." I then began laughing hysterically. They all looked at me confused, especially Victor.
"If that were true we wouldn't be here right now," I said with a wide smile. Victor examined me with a puzzled expression then his eyes grew wide as he realized what I meant. He had swords hanging on the walls; he unsheathed one and walked toward me angrily.
"No…" he mumbled.
"Dad what are you doing?" Cole asked concerned. The others didn't budge, but they grew wide eyed.
"No!" He raised the sword high in the air in front of me and my smile grew wider.
"Dad!" Cole yelled but it was too late. Victor swung the blade down and cut me in half, that's when I disappeared.
I felt the magic I spared to make that thought projection return to me. By the time they figured it out I was on top of a hill miles away from that mansion. I had successfully tricked them and I was free.
"Suck on that Victor!" I yelled toward the mansion. I just had to say that, I thought, then turned to the laughing red cat in a tiny, teal sweatshirt. "When we find Oda do not tell him I said that."
"You got it boss!" he said in his usual energetic tone.
"It took a while but I'm finally free!" I said happily.
"Hey boss…" I looked at the red cat, Rex, and he pulled out a white hooded trench coat from out of nowhere. "Missing something?" I quickly snatched my coat from him and hugged it tightly.
"Oh I missed this." I quickly slipped on the coat and felt the magical fibers protect me from the chilly air giving a nice warm feeling. "Thanks Rex."
"No problem boss!" Rex climbed on my shoulder and we began walking further away from Ajagara manor. "Boss, while you were trapped there I heard there was a dragon sighting in Ongelukkig village."
"Any details?"
"Something about a cave, it's not much but it's the best way to get back on track to finding Oda after they trapped you."
"Better than nothing, now let's go find Oda."
Bio-Devil: I hope every one liked it. I'll get to work on my next chapter and post it as soon as I can.
Dante: Just as soon as he feels like it.
Bio-Devil: Okay you and I are going to have a little chat later.
Rex: Come on Boss, I've talked to BD about the new story line and I'm excited about the new powers I get.
Dante: I'm excited that you are actually wearing clothes for once and are a little different than a cherry flavored Happy.
Rex: At least admit you liked the Force Staff.
Dante: ...Okay...
Bio-Devil: If you two are done I'd like to finish off by saying in the next chapter Dante will meet Wendy and the members of Team Natsu for the first time, (Again). I look forward to reading your comments. See you next time! Oh! and before I forget, a special thanks to shadowrider89 for the idea of Andrew the Forest Dragon Slayer.
