The World Has Fallen Season 1

April Grimes waited behind for her brother Rick to wake up. When he finally does, April and Rick have to make their way to Atlanta to search for Rick's family. The only problem being the undead monsters blocking the way. With a little help from a few new friends and an old friend, the siblings find their loved ones and April meets someone she hasn't seen in a long time. *M Later*

"I'm leavin' in a little while" She informed the boy standing in front of her. He looked up sharply. He didn't understand, why was she leaving him?
"What'?!" Came his reply.
"It's been 2 months, I have to go home." She explained. If it was her choice, she wouldn't be leaving, but her brother needed her. He looked down.
"Why?" the 16 year old asked quietly. She gave a half smile and walked forward, putting her hands on his shoulders. She squeezed them gently, hoping that it offered some support.
" I have to go home to my family. Meet my brother's fiancée. I can't stay out here forever, no matter how much I wanna." He continued looking down and roughly brought a hand up and swiped at the tears threatened to escape his eyes.
"Ya can't go! Ya said ya wouldn' leave!" She wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tight. He held her tight and she could feel his hot tears on her neck. She sighed as he pushed me away. She looked into his eyes and she knew what she wanted to do; so she leant forward and pressed her lips to his. He didn't kiss back for a moment so she began to pull away. Quick enough he pushed his lips against hers urgently, holding her face in his hands. After a few minutes She pulled away and rested her forehead against his.
"I'm going to miss you so much" she whispered. Her eyes watered at the thought of leaving him. She swallowed my tears and walked over to the bed and picked up her bag. She walked over and kissed him one last time, giving him one last hug and moved to the door.
"I'll come back. I promise." She smiled at him and then turned to leave. She stopped and looked back at him. " Think of me some time" and with that. She walked away.

She secured her bag to her back and straddled her motorbike. Taking one last look at the cabin she started the bike, she lifted her foot and then she was gone. Nothing more than a whisper in the wind.
