CHAPTER ONE – THAT KYUNG HEE UNIVERSITY GUY.

Six years ago – Year 2004

" Oppa! Do I look pretty in this dress? "

Autumn twirled around in her purple dress, giggling childishly even though it's been months since she turned 14.

Changmin went along with her. He took her by the hand and twirled her around him.

" Haha… Why of course you look pretty! Autumn… You're pretty like the Autumn season! "

" I can't wait to wear this dress during our family gathering! It's been so long since our families got together like that. We'll all be happy again! "

Changmin looked hesitant for a while. He let out a laugh.

" Yeah… We'll be happy again… "

Six years later – Year 2010, February 26.

Autumn arrives at the Seoul Incheon International Airport at 12.15pm to be exact.

The flight from Singapore took a few hours and Autumn was exhausted. It's been years since she last rode on an aeroplane.

And now she's back in Korea. Despite objections from her parents, Autumn decided to fly to Korea after graduating from Polytechnic to attend Kyung Hee University. She was offered to major in Visual Arts and of course, Autumn was glad to accept it.

" Now that I'm set, I should get a cab to Kyung Hee U.. Ah! I see a taxi stand! "

Autumn dragged her luggage to the stand. A taxi finally pulled up at her line and Autumn proceeded to place her luggage into the car boot. As soon as she got into the cab, the driver asked her where she was heading to in Korean.

" Can you please take me to Kyung Hee U, Sir? " Autumn asked in Korean.

Autumn grew up conversing in Korean. In fact, she was! That is until her parents moved to Singapore. Autumn had to get used to using English since it was the official language back in Singapore.

It was a half an hour ride to Kyung Hee U. Autumn had to get used to long cab rides now that she's in Korea. Back in Singapore, traffic jams don't usually happen but here, well its part of Korean life. Lost in her countless thoughts, Autumn finally reached her destination – Kyung Hee University.

She paid the driver her fare and proceeded to getting her luggage.

" O-M-G… This is a huge place! Way, way huge! Now how do I find my way to the Student Admin Office? "

So off Autumn went, dragging her heavy luggage into the huge building called, Kyung Hee U.

With mouth wide open, Autumn was amazed at the sight before her. There were so many buildings linked together, she couldn't really tell where she was. Autumn decided that she had to ask around then. She can't be lost forever right?

Autumn sees a group of students heading her way. She stops them.

" Excuse me but I need some directions.. May I know where is the Student Admin Office? "

One of the guy in the group stepped towards her.

" You a new student here? "

" Yes. Yes, I am!"

" You sound a little enthusiastic, don't ya? "

" Wha… What do you mean? "

" It's obvious that you're not Korean either. I mean, look at your atrocious Korean. And I think you got the wrong place. You're a little too kid-looking to be here. What are you? 16 years old? "

The guy laughed. The rest of the students in the group giggled.

Being a stubborn girl herself (Only when she needs to!), Autumn retorts.

" Haha! Are you gonna tell me where the Student Admin Office is or not?! "

Autumn glared at the guy straight in the eye. She realised something. It can't be right? His eyes. They're special. Especially when he laughed. He had those mismatched eyes Changmin had. Changmin… Autumn's cousin. The son of Aunt Shim – Her Dad's sister.
