Author's notes: I got the idea to write this story after watching a J-drama on Youtube. Prologue

My eyes were transfixed to the pair of matching amber.
At that moment it seemed that time has frozen.
My five senses filtered out the rest of surroundings, even the foster dad's voice, leaving my focus upon her.
Standing in front of me was a charming little girl, younger than me about a year or two. She held out her petite hand to me as she greeted me with a warm smile.
"Hi, my name is Yuuki. What's yours?"
I swore to God, my heart had stopped beating.
I can't even remember how to breathe…
Her touch broke down my emotional barriers so easily, like ice melting being warmed by fire.
For the first time in my life, I felt liberated and loved…
It was love at first sight.
But little did I know, it was unrequited one…
