THE GIFT
Chapter 1: The Beginning
It was a sad and terrible day in the village of Konoha just a few hours ago hundreds of shinobi died protecting their home and loved ones from the rampaging madness that was the bijuu known as Kyuubi no Yoko the nine tailed fox. Among them was there leader and greatest shinobi to have graced the lands of the elemental nations the Yondaime Hokage otherwise known as the fabled Konoha's Koroi Senko (Konoha's Yellow Flash). He had just sacrificed himself to the shinigami to help seal the Kyuubi into a little boy turning him into a Jinchurinki.
Right now the little boy is in the chambers of the council and all Jonins and ANBU.
"He must be destroyed before that thing has a chance to destroy us all!" yelled a fat civilian council member
"No he must be made an example of for what the demon has done!" yelled none other then one of the Hokage's advisors named Himura
Then an old man who has half his face covered in bandages has a sling in his left arm and walks with a cane named Shimura Danzo stood up and said "Let me train the boy to be a weapon for Konoha."
"NO" yelled Sarutobi aka the Sandaime Hokage aka the God of Shinobi as he had enough of the useless and idiotic banter of the council "If I hear another word about executing, destroying or turning the child into a weapon I will have you publicly executed for treasons on the grounds of disrespecting the last wishes of my late predecessor" he but yelled at the council
"there will be no mentioning of the Kyuubi to this child or to anyone outside of this chambers or face execution is that clear?" demanded Sarutobi
"…." Was his only response and some nodes from the ninja side of the council
"good now as of now this child's name shall be Uzumaki Naruto and he will be placed in the orphanage and if I hear of anything happening to him I will find out who was responsible and have him sent to Ibiki for interrogations and executed by myself personally is that clear!"
"Hai Hokage-sama" was the resounding response he got except Danzo who was scowling at not getting the child under his thumb.
1 hour later
After the whole affair Sarutobi was in his office still carrying Naruto in his arms feeling sadden that he could have done something better for the poor boy
"If only you were here Minato, Kushina you both would be ashamed and disappointed of how this village has become…" he sigh as he looked out onto his village seeing groups of Konoha citizens civilian and shinobi alike rebuilding there ruined village.
"I just hope this does not come bit us in the ass later on in the future" Sarutobi said somberly as he made his way to lay the young Uzumaki in a crib that was placed near his desk while he continued his work his predecessor left behind
"Damn you Minato for not telling me the secret of defeating a Kage's worst enemy!" he said angrily while working on the dreaded paperwork
"I'm getting to old for this shit" grumbled the Sandaime
While Sarutobi was working he never noticed the seal on Naruto glowed faintly before returning back to normal in a split second that even the ANBU stationed in the office didn't notice it.
Ok I know this was not the best chapter but I will have the next chapter up soon and a poll deciding who will be in the Harem min of 3 max of 10.
