Ash I love you too
'Not again I can't live through this again.' Gwen thought back to Ash's demise. 'It's not fair. I didn't have another resurrection charm. Ash is gone for real.'
{flashback}
Hex returned. But what was he wanting this time? That was a question Gwen didn't know. Gwen and Ash were both in their superhero attire. Back at the cemetery back where they first fought Hex. But this battle would be different Gwen could feel it. 'This is where Ash died I cannot let that happen again' Gwen thought. Gwen was about to battle Hex. 'I have to keep him away from her.' But before Gwen could get to Hex. A mechanical tail wrapped around her waist. Gwen turned around and saw Ash holding her back. "Ash you can't stop me. I won't let you get killed again. Not like last time." Tears fell Gwen's face as she recalled Ash's death. 'I was powerless. There was nothing I could've done. Ash sacrificed her life so I could be a hero.' "Gwen-san their is something I need to tell you." Ash looked dead serious. "What?"
"Gwen-san I love you so much. I don't want you to get hurt. You're more than a partner to me and you're my world Gwen-san that's why I protect you so fiercely." Ash leaned in kissed Gwen. Gwen felt a power it felt like electricity flowing though her but she knew Ash wasn't shocking her. It didn't hurt but felt warm and caring and powerful like a love of a mother. 'Is this how Ash feels about me?' Gwen thought. Then Ash and Gwen heard a rumbling. Ash looked up Hex triggered a rock slide. Gwen was frozen in fear not able to move. When Ash pushed Gwen out of the way. Rocks buried Ash. Hex disappeared. Gwen ran to the rock pile and unburied Ash. She wasn't moving. "Ash are you okay?" 'Okay that's a stupid question, but give me a sign that you're alive.' But Ash was gone.
Ash was buried on top of a hill by a tree. Gwen was there under the tree. 'I always knew Ash loved me, but not like that. I always thought it was family love. And now I will never be able to tell her how I feel.'
"Gwen-san are you alright?"
"No, you're dead Ash." 'Nothing will ever be alright again because I love you too Ash, but I can never tell that now.' Gwen collapsed in tears.
Gwen awoke with Ash looking at her. "Ash you're alive?"
"Yeah, but I had a dream that you died."
"I had a nightmare were you died too. I hated it." The redhead replied "Ash I want you know I love you. I don't care that were partners."
"I love you too Gwen-san"
The two kissed. Ash nuzzled against Gwen's body feeling warm. Knowing Ash was still with her Gwen fell back asleep.
