It was a cold dark day in the soul society. It was the funeral of Momo Hinamori. Everyone gathered at the 5th division. Darkness and sadness covered all the shinigami's as they came to the funeral. Many people were thinking how a young, fragile girl could die from a caption that betrayed her like that.
"Hinamori" Rangiku said in a whisper with Izuru, Renji, Rukia, and Ichigo by her side.
"Why the hell did it have to end like this?" Renji said roughly
"There is no good reason for her death." Izuru said in a sadden tone
As the funeral went people where in silence but the one question people had in their minds was "where is Toshiro?" He was Hinamori's best friend and he wasn't anywhere to be found.
Two hours later…
Toshiro was still nowhere to be found.
"Geez where is Toshiro I mean I thought he would at least go to the funeral for the first 5 minutes but he never came" Renji said in frustration.
"I'm gonna look for him" Rangiku said
"I'll go too" Ichigo said
"You don't have to I-"
"I'm going"
Rangiku stared into his piercing eyes and sighed
"Fine you can come" she said in defeat
They searched high and low far and wide to find Toshiro near a tree he had hid behind the rain pouring down on him staring at a flower. Ichigo and Rangiku slowly went towards him.
"Hey what are you doing here all alone?" Ichigo said
"What…do you want?" Toshiro mumbled
"We came to see if you're alright" Rangiku said
"I'm fine"
"Then why didn't you go to the funeral?"
"Because I didn't want to go!" Toshiro snapped
"But don't you-"
"SHUT-UP AND LEAVE ME ALONE" Toshiro yelled
"Toshiro…" Ichigo said
"WHAT?" Toshiro yelled as he looked up at Ichigo
Suddenly Rangiku wrapped her arms around Toshiro.
"We know…we know that your hurt and full of rage and pain but it's going better we'll help you and it'll be okay, and trust me…" a small tear went down Rangiku's cheek " were all sad too."
"Rangiku" Toshiro sighed
"Hey Toshiro" Ichigo said
"Please don't be so hostile like this because when you do this it hurt's other people, and I don't think Momo…would…like to…see you like this either" Ichigo said as his eyes started to water up
"Ichigo, R-Ran...gi...ku" Toshiro eyes began to water up suddenly he began sobbing on Rangiku grasping her shirt.
"That's right cry Toshiro…you can cry all you to today" Rangiku thought as she rubbed his back gently, and ichigo smiled softly as he stroked Toshiro's hair.
"Ichigo…R-Rangiku thank you s-so much" Toshiro mumbled as a soft smile grew on his face.
And as the gray clouds went by a streams of sunshine came out shinning on Toshiro as if Momo was smiling at him.
"Goodbye…bed wetter Momo" Toshiro said as his smile grew.
