I left Touya, he didn't need me anymore. It doesn't matter, right? He will find his love, I know it. How do I know it? Its from the gift that man gave to me when I was young, the man that is embedded in my memory. I haven't seen him forever, what does he look like now? I don't know, but I would like to thank him for giving me this gift. Not only that, he was something else.
He was the person I admired.
He was my mentor.
He was the one I saw who cared deeply for me. I cared for him too, a lot. His mysterious blue eyes, quick smile, beautiful serious face, he was amazing. I was only 10, and he seemed great. We went to school together, him being slightly older than me. He looked my age though. He said it was a secret, why he looked 10, he never told me. Just answered, "My secret."
Yes, I know that my grandfather and the rest of my family cared, but it was a cold love. With all their duties, and me being the only one, they never really had time for me.
I wanted to find him, I knew I had a big chance in England.
Flashback
"Eriol-kun! Eriol-kun!"
Eriol-kun's grinning face faced mine as he looked up from his drawing. "Hai, Kaho-chan?"
"Ne ne, you'll be here forever right? Tomodachi?"
"Why do you ask that?"
"Just wondering, kaa-sama said that you liked to travel. But you'll be here right?" Kaho sat next to Eriol-kun grinning. "Right?"
"Who knows?"
Always the mysterious one, Eriol.
"Mou Eriol-kun! You never give me straight answers!"
Eriol-kun laughed. His laugh, it was amazing. Deep, resounding, beautiful, just so unique. I cared so much for him.
"I can tell you one thing though. If I do leave Tomoeda, I'll probably be in England. It is where I was born, and it's my home."
"Aww Eriol-kun! Don't leave!" Kaho hugged him right there. Eriol-kun just smiled and hugged back.
"I won't leave now, but soon. My dear little niece was just born, and I know you will meet her…someday. And you will meet me again."
"As long as I see you again Eriol-kun! And I want you to promise!"
"Promise?" Those were one of those moments in life when Eriol-kun's eyes were confused; it was so unlikely and rare.
"Funny Eriol-kun!" It was amazing…Eriol-kun was always so intelligent, so smart, so wise, but he didn't understand the littlest of things. "Our promise that I'll see you again silly!"
Eriol-kun still looked confused, so I just kissed his cheek. Eriol-kun looked at me and smiled. "This is how I show you we promise to see each other again?"
"Hai!"

I would find him. We will keep our promise. I knew it. I love him. I loved Touya, but I knew my love with him wasn't meant to be. He will find his love soon, and that boy in my dreams always lingered in the back of my mind. I will find him, even if I have to search forever. I will keep it.
