PROLOGUE
Yachiru often thought that cherry blossoms bloom because they are so fragrant that they cannot contain themselves. She would wonder until she had given up on her silly logic then she would presume to her daily routine…pestering anybody.
Anybody she asks about why do cherry blossoms bloom gives her the same reason: because it's in season. Thus she makes another conclusion obvious to the particular reason; cherry blossoms bloom because they are forced. Well can't they bloom because they want to or can't they bloom in different season. She obviously knows someone who wielded the same elemental flower; she might as well give him a visit.
Yachiru shunpoed reaching Byakuya's window sill. She took note of the big stack of papers at his desk he was currently working on. Well the tired look on Byakuya's face makes her hesitant but she would rather die a cherry-filled death than die of boredom. Speaking of dying Byakuya never really threatened her of death, he actually likes feeding her. With worry eased on her mind she then stalked her prey.
"BYAKUSHI~!" she yelled at him.
"What is it Lieutenant Kusajishi?"
"Well Byakushi, I'm just here to pay you a visit and ask you a question.''
"Hn", an indication of Byakuya's surrender. He was still working his brush on the paper. Some would say Byakuya Kuchiki actually looked serious in this predicament but in Yachiru's eyes he looks worn out and tired.
"Why do cherry blossoms bloom?"
"Hn" Byakuya Kuchiki eyed her for a moment then stopped signing the paper.
"They bloom because they are in season thus pertaining to the weather and nature wants them to. A little moment they bloom then they start to fall."
"So cherry blossoms are free when they fall..", Yachiru ponders out loud.
"No they are not, they simply rot in the ground, Catch.", Byakuya bribed her throwing her a bag full of candy, indicating Yachiru to leave because he has workloads to do.
"Arigattou Byakushii, But they do fall." Yachiru turns her heel on the window sill then shunpoed out.
"Hn"
