Shadows

Darkness has closed in
the shadow draws near
this place of peace crumbles
while my hero
goes towards dark lands
not knowing what is to come
protecting the golden one
but darkness follows
through every turn
nowhere to hide
the spirit has faded
hope has gone
light has dimmed

my light in the darkness
come back to me
the shadow creeps closer
evil ones invade
