(While Romeo was waiting for Juliet by the balcony, Paris enters stage right and sees Romeo.)

Romeo: (Sees Paris and looks worried) Oh, good morrow, fellow sir. Uh, I was just, (quickly picks a bundle of flowers) picking some flowers for my family's dinner table. (Smells flowers) Mmmmm… They smell like… Flowers…

Paris: (Stares at Romeo not believing his story) Then why do you decide to go all the way out here in the Capulete's territory?

Romeo: (Hesitant) The flowers smell nicer here.

Paris: Yeah, because Juliet is present here somewhere. You're in love with her I know it!

Romeo: No… Why would I fall in love with a… Capulete… Yuck!

Paris: Oh, knock it off, Romeo. I know everything! I watched you from behind the bushes for quite sometime, now. I saw you go up the balcony the other night, and made-out with my beloved! Plus, the Nurse told me that you two got married yesterday.

Romeo: Aw, man! The Nurse promised that she wouldn't tell. She pinky sworn!

Paris: You stole Juliet's love and her virtue away from me, now, you will pay! (Wields his sword, pointing it at Romeo) Prepare to die!

Romeo: (Wields his sword, hesitantly) Look, I don't want to fight you, we can work things out.

(Paris tried to cut Romeo with his sword, but missed from Romeo backing off.)

Romeo: (Looking more protective of himself) Don't make me kill you like I did Tybalt!

Paris: Oh that's right. You're supposed to be banished from Verona. (Chuckles to himself) Wait until I tell everybody that you're still here! (He sheathed his sword and walks toward the end of stage right)

Romeo: (Runs to Paris, stopping him by grabbing his arm) Paris, don't!

Paris: Get your filthy hands off me you blue, scrawny Monti! My fair Juliet will be my bride tomorrow, while you suffer in prison, (sinister smile) or possibly death. (Tries to walk away)

Romeo: (Pulls back Paris) She rightfully belongs to me, she spoke her vows in truth! I belong to Juliet until she sends me away.

Paris: Well, I'll have to make sure of that. (Walks away to stage right, shaking out of Romeo's grasp)

Romeo: No! (Wields his sword and cuts Paris in half. He examines the body, realizing what he's done) Oh, no! I'm more of a monster than I was ten seconds ago! (He begins to sob, until he realizes something) Wait a minute… Paris is dead. That means no marriage! And Juliet and I will be together forever! Okay, how do I get rid of the evidence so I won't be hunted down and killed instead of being banished?

(Romeo hides the body in the bushes located at stage right, and exits to stage left to go to Friar Lawrence's cell to get a shovel. When Romeo returned from stage left, he began to dig a hole.)

Juliet: (Enters stage left, and sees Romeo digging a hole besides the corpse) Romeo! What are you doing?

Romeo: (Stops digging and slowly looks at Juliet) Uh, my new friend, Paris and I, decided to dig a giant hole together. We're getting along a lot better now, ain't that right, buddy? (There was silence for a few seconds) He's really shy.

Juliet: I'm not stupid, Romeo! I can tell he's dead!

Romeo: (Sighs) Are you mad at me?

Juliet: Mad at you? (Takes a shovel from behind a tree located at stage right) I'm gonna help you!

Romeo: Sweet! (He gave Juliet a high five.)

(They began digging the hole together.)

Juliet: This is just like an episode of Wicked Attraction!
