Hey guys, sorry i haven't posted in sooo long! I'm super sorry about that, life sure can get challenging...but anyways. I wrote this a few weeks ago and wanted to see how it would turn out on here.
So please review and let me know what you think, and if i get enough requests I'll post up more poems on this story that i've written already!
So, REVIEW! love all my fans,
~Poetrywriter16
I long for it
The love he doesn't give.
I ask for it simply
I'm just a friend.
I want more than he believes,
He will never know.
I think about him all the time,
Wishing to be with him.
Will he ever
Notice my love for him?
Eventually he'll figure it out
His one has been here all along.
I hide my feelings
With my lost hope.
I've learned not to share
These feelings of mine.
He just says I'm a friend
But I must be more.
I love him
More than he knows.
I hope
He'll realize
All along,
I've been here.
Waitin',
Longin,
Hopin,
For something that'll never happen.
Why waste the time?
I truly don't know.
My hope,
Disappears.
To him,
I'm just a little kid.
Those kisses we've shared,
He thinks nothing of.
I cry,
Longing,
Wanting,
But not receiving.
Through the times,
I won't leave.
He'll flip through girls,
I'll still be here.
I must mean something,
I hope I do.
But to him I'm nothing,
Simply a little kid.
I still wonder,
These feelings of mine.
Why stay
When he's gone?
The love of mine
Will never be returned.
All I want,
Is his happiness.
Please stay,
Don't leave me here.
But you're already gone,
So long my love.
Time passes,
Feelings and visions fade.
Reunited, the feelings,
They fly back.
I become entranced,
Even moreso than before.
Why won't you leave my mind?
I don't understand why.
The feelings may fade,
But the love shall stay.
He makes my heart,
Beat slow and fast together.
When we touch,
Ti's a feeling hard to forget.
I dream of him nightly,
Knowing they'll never come true.
Little changes unseen by others,
I notice easily.
Why not just pay attention
The way I do for you?
He can tell me anything,
He says I'm a good friend.
But sadly I know one thing:
That's all I'll ever be to him.
