The rain. It poured, and poured, and it just wouldn't stop.

''Daddy? Why did he have to die?''

''I don't know, Agnes. I don't know.''

Today was a very sad day. It was the death of Gru's dog, Kyle. It is unknown why he died. Gru and the three little girls were at a cemetery for his funeral.

''Come on girls, let's go home.''

Gru started up the car, and went home with the girls. They parked in front of the house. At the time they got home, it was 10:42pm, after the girl's bedtime. Gru all took them to bed, kissed them good night, and closed the door. Edith started crying. Margo attempted to cheer her up.

''Cheer up, Edith. Maybe we'll get a new dog, or even a cat!''

''I want a giant unicorn!''

''Agnes, that might be a little over the top.''

''Yeah, a little of the top of a rainbow!''

Margo sighed. The minions were listening outside of the door, listening in on the conversation, and felt bad. One of the minions had a good idea, and whispered it to the others.

The next day went by, Gru and the girls were all downstairs eating breakfast as usual, until...

''OH JOY!''

A mysterious red cat and a Chihuahua, came by.

''YOU IDIOT THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SURPRISE!''

''Oh, sorry Ren.''

Gru was surprised.

''Who's this?

The minions spoke to Gru.

''WHAT? Why didn't you tell me? Oh whatever. Margo, Edith, Agnes, meet Ren and Stimpy!''

Agnes started laughing and picked up Stimpy.

''You're so fluffy!''

''Well, new Gritty Kitty shampoo for cats can thank me for that!''

Margo and Edith went up to Ren.

''Oh no, listen up. Rule number one, no dressing me up, rule number 2, no…''

Ren went on till one point; Gru got bothered by it and interrupted him.

''And don't forget, Ren, rule number 3 is the girls can do what they want or else you get to see the ''nutcracker''.

The nutcracker was a new invention by Gru and the minions, he hasn't tried it out or anything, but it does harm to anyone who goes inside of the nutcracker. Ren started sweating.

''OK, rule number 4 is there are no rules!''

Margo and Edith took Ren upstairs and played with him. Gru was still downstairs.

''Oh those girls look so happy, Steve and Joe, you both get a cookie later!''

Steve and Joe (the minions) were really happy.
