Summary: A mysterious new girl moves and goes to Degrassi and apparently has a very strong connection to KC. How will Clare take it?
Ray's POV:
I walked into my new school called Degrassi, a great place to make a new start (not that I really need one). Moving my blonde hair behind my ear, I smiled looking for that familiar blonde headed boy. "KC!" I saw him and ran and gave him a big hug. "Ray? Oh my God! What are you doing here?"
" I got transferred here!" I hugged him again and picked him up spinning him around. A few guys watched us and laughed. "Ray…" KC groaned.
"Sorry dude! So, who're your friends?"
"Just the basketball team."
"Oh! You do a sport, little KC is growin' up!" I loved embarrassing him sometimes. I watched as his face turned read and his friends started laughing again.
Clare's POV:
I walked through the hallway. Today was the day I was going to tell KC how I feel about him. I turned the corner just to watch a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes scream, "KC!" and gave him a big hug. Who was this girl? And why was KC hugging her back?! I turned around after hearing them talking some more, and ran down the hallway to find Alli.
LUNCH TIME
Ray's POV:
I walked with KC catching up on things we've missed about each other when I saw a girl with glasses and curly blonde hair run up to us yelling, "KC! How could you? I was going to tell you how I feel about you then I see you prancing around with your girlfriend!" I looked at her and said, "You? I? Us? You think we're dating?" She nodded and I couldn't help but laugh, she frowned. "I'm KC's very close sister like cousin!" The girl stared at us in disbelief.
KC's POV
"It's true Clare, she is just my cousin, Ray." Ray smiled and said, "Nice to meet you!" Clare had tears in her eyes and ran away. "What did I do?" Ray asked.
"It isn't your fault it is probably mine." Before I knew it Ray and I were walking in the hallway instead of at the cafeteria. She started singing:

Who grew up lost and lonely
Thinking love was fairytale
And trouble was made only for me"
"No Ray! Don't!" It was a song she always sang for me when I was upset. She still continued:
"Even in the darkness

Grief replaced with pity

Dreams are easy to achieve
If hope is all I'm hoping to be

She continued to say, " I'll talk to her." And she ran to find Clare.
Ray's POV:
"Clare?" I said poking my head into a closet.
"What do you want Ray?" I sighed and sat down with her singing,
"Look around
We're living with the lost and found
Just when you feel you've almost drowned
You find yourself on solid ground
And you believe
There's good in everybody's heart
Keep it safe and sound
With hope, you can do your part
To turn a life around
I cannot believe my eyes
Is the world finally growing wise
'Cause it seems to me
Some kind of harmony
Is on the rise" Clare smiled at me before hugging, saying thanks and running off to find KC. I sighed and said, "Man I am good."
