Prolouge.
A highscool, crowded outfront and packed to the brim with students. The eyes of the students are staring at the ground, slowly opening infront of them. The cracks spread slowly spewing flames out like a gaiser that had lost control and complete grip of the earth. Teachers struggled to get the students back and as away from the building as possible, but the students were frozen like statues, their feet glued to the ground and their eyes still staring at the flames.
Teacher: Please everyone, evacuate the building we have to get as far away from here as possible! We don't know what'll happen if we don't!
A group of students were trying their best to get away as fast as they could. As they were leaving, the ground broke open a cloud of thick black smoke broke out from under the ground, slowly being consumed by the flames.
Shou: C'mon guys! Let's get the fuck out of here! Hurry!
Hisoka: Yeah! Shou's right, we have to get out of here Rin!
Rin: Wait! Look! I-is that a teacher?!
Shou: Can't be! No one can walk through fire! Its not possible!
A man slowly walked out from the flames, weilding a long sword that seemed to glow. The students and teachers all stared in fear at what was happening. The man started to slowly grin, his teeth sharper than daggers. He glared at the crowd and laughed and started to swing his sword at the students cutting people down as if they were blades of grass. Total and utter panic arose as students and teachers ran for their lives, screaming in fear.
Rin: Lets go! Lets go!
Hisoka: I second that!
The boys slowly start to run towards the side exit of the school, hoping to get out fast. The man watched the boys run and followed them, an evil grin on his face the entire time.
Shou: He's following us! Holy shit he's following us!
The man grabs Hisoka by the back of the shirt and pulls him back onto the blade of his sword, the blade sticks out from Hisoka's chest.
Rin: No!
Shou: Hisoka! You son of a bitch!
Shou ran at the man, kicking and punching him. The man just laughs and holds Shou by the head*
Man: Youre to funny..But I'm not here for fun. Im here for you!
The man throws Shou at the wall and points at Rin.
Rin: W-what? Me?! Why?!
The man just pushes Hisoka off the sword and walks up to Rin, getting in his face.
Man: Because you're my brother. And I'm going to bring you home!
Rin pushes the man back and starts to run off. Hopping over fences and running through traffic until he is stopped by the man appearing infront of him.
Man: Don't beileve me? Fine.
The man places his hand ontop of Rins head. Rins eyes open wide and slowly turn pure black. The man smiles as Rin screams in pain from the flames that are slowly coming from his body.
Man: You're a demon like me! The son of the Devil!
Rin: No! No! No!
Man: What do they call you?
Rin: R-Rin
Man: Hm, my name's Mortem. Do you know what we call you in hell? Ignis, for fire.
Mortem laughs loudly as Rin slowly clenches his fists. Rin punches Mortem in the stomach causing him to couch and spit out, arching his back.
Rin: I'm not a demon!
Rins body becomes covered in flames, dark red flames.
Mortem: Y-you're going to die for that!
Mortem grabs Rin and throws him into the air. He follows Rin up and smashes both hands into Rins stomach and meteors him into the ground.
Mortem: Come back to hell with me! Its your home!
Rin flies out of the hole and looks down at mortem from the sky
Rin: This is my home!
Rin fires a large ball of fire at Mortem.
Mortem: What the! No! Not possible! How's he already this strong!
