DISCLAMER: I DO NOT OWN TANGLED OR DISNEY!

Eugene looked at the simple ring in his hands, the turning his attention to the mirror asked "Rapunzel, will you marry me?"

The mirror didn't respond.

"You're right. Too bland. Rapunzel, my love. You mean more to me than anything. Will you do me the honor of becoming my bride, my beautiful golden flower?"

Still no response from the mirror.

"Too dramatic, I know. Ah! All I want to do is marry her." Eugene looked at his reflection in the mirror, then down at the silver ring. "All I want is to wake up with her by my side, to have her, to hold her. To tell the world that I love her more than anything. I just want to marry her."

"Then just ask."

Eugene turned around to see a certain brunette standing in his doorway, eyes teary and slightly laughing.

"You know," she continued. "I don't like big, fancy things. I would've been fine with option number one."

Eugene laughed and walked over to her.. "Rapunzel, will you marry me?" he recited, voice wavering and hands shaking. Rapunzel squealed and cupped his face in her hands. "What can I say? You've stolen what rightfully belongs to me."

"And that would be?"

"My heart, Mr. Rider."

He leaned down and planted his lips softly on top of hers. "My greatest steal yet."
