A/N: I just needed to write something and as you can see it's not that good, but I hope you'll still enjoy it.

Thanks: M. L. Ayala, my beta reader. :)

~ Everything she did made Seifer think that it was a part of her spell, whether it was the way she moved around, or the kind of voice that she used when she talked to him. ~

Seifer looked from a distance at how the woman was preparing herself for tonight, not sure if he should leave now or stay. Eventually, he chose the latter, hoping that she wouldn't mind. Well, she would be sure to let him know when she did, anyway. He knew that everyone called him her lapdog and to be honest, sometimes, he really felt like that was true.

As always, she was taking her sweet time, just like every other girl he'd ever known. Still, the movements she made were more… elegant. Maybe it was because of who she was, powerful, cunning, hauntingly beautiful, or because she was older than the teenagers he'd seen putting on makeup and she had more experience with things. The blonde male didn't know, nor did he really care.

In fact, everything she did, whether it was the way she walked around, or the kind of voice that she used when she talked to him, made Seifer think that it was all a part of her spell, the same spell that she had put him under.

There was something about her, he thought. Something that had drawn his attention from the first moment they had met. He couldn't describe in words what exactly it was, because it wasn't something that could be categorized that easily. However, it surely was something that still tempted him, leading him away from where his home was... or rather, where it used to be once. It felt like some enchantingly soft voice singing at the back of his mind. It always called for him and him alone.

The voice always said that she needed him for something, and before he'd finally realized what really was going on, it was far too late to turn back and ignore the urgent voice.

Before he knew what was happening, he was suddenly the Knight, with her as his Lady. Together, they were unstoppable. It felt as though his romantic dream was finally coming true. And he would do anything to make that happen.

She had promised him many things that kept his hopes up and he believed every single word coming from her. He would achieve his goal, as long as he did exactly what she asked him to. He would be famous, known everywhere, legendary even. He honestly couldn't wait to see Puberty Boy's face when he would see him at the top. All the things he did now, they were all worth it in the end.

Little did he know, though, that the dream-like state (this wonderful world full of illusions) he was in now, would slowly turn into the worst nightmare he'd ever had...

After all, the devil had many disguises.

(However, it would be too late by the time he would find out.)

A/N: Thanks for reading! For the curious ones out there, I'm working on the next chapter of 'Falling Silently,' but there's only slow progress.
