Me: ohmygod! I j-just finished the anime of Cowboy Bebop... SPIKE! HOW COULD YOU? HOW DARE YOU DIE! HOW DARE YOU!

Ed: Spike-Spike...? *teary eyed*

Me: I DENIE IT! I DEFY THIS LOGIC! HE SURVIVED HIS STOMACH WOUND!

Ed: waaaaaaaaaaaah!

Me: No, really. They never actually say he died, right?

Ed: *cries*

Me: it's ok... Here's a cute oneshot!

Spike stretched lazily and stood up. "Alright, guys. Lets head back to the Bebop." He said, turning towards the door.

"Aaaw! But I was just starting to have fun!" Faye whined unhappily.

"Too bad." Jet said simply, standing up and walking out.

"Ugh. Fine, but your waking Ed up." She said, looking pointedly at Spike before following Jet out the door. Spike turned to where the little girl was curled up on a black couch shoved into the corner. [A/N I don't really know where they are at the moment... so use your imagination, 'kay?] He walked over to her and was reaching towards her shoulder to shake her awake when she stirred slightly in her sleep.

She rolled over and lay there, a peaceful smile on her face. Spike hesitated, looking at her. Ed was, in all honesty, absolutely adorable when she was asleep. Spike stared at her and couldn't help the smile when she yawned and muttered something unintelligible.

He sighed when he remembered that he was supposed to wake her up so they could go back to the Bebop. He watched her for another minute, then came to a decision. He reached down and gently picked her up bridal style.

The girl was small and felt fragile in his arms. She murmered something else before latching her arms around Spike's neck, much to his suprise. A smile slipped across her features as she snuggled up to him. He held back a laugh and headed out the door to his ship.

He walked up and Faye immiediantly asked, "Did you get Ed? You didn't leave her there, did you?" She glanced up to find Spike glaring at her.

"Be quiet." He hissed softly, before walking into another room.[A/N does Ed have a room? Idk...] He placed her on the couch and covered her with a blanket. She curled up underneath it and muttered something again. Ein climbed up onto the couch next to the girl and she auomatically wrapped her skinny arms around the dog.

Spike smiled and ruffled her hair before turning and walking out. "What was that about? Your usually so cold." Faye asked from a chair.

He shrugged. "I'm not sure. I just didn't want to wake her up." Spike said, also wondering about the change of character. He flopped down and pulled out a cigarette.

"That was sweet." Faye told him softly. Spike smiled to himself, and put the pack of cigarettes back into his pocket.

Me: how was that? Please reveiw! Flames are welcomly excepted and I'm grateful for anything you have to say!
