A Deddication to my friend; Jackie.

Bonding Time

I awoke with a sudden burst as I noticed the sweat forming at the base of the ivory skin that covered my forehead.

In an attempt to recall such an event that would have caused me to sweat all night, my memory led me to many vivid thoughts of Edward Cullen.

To which my memory just so happened to remind me of how my loved on had left seconds after I had fallen asleep. I turned to face blue digital numbers that read ten o'clock and I shot up. I was supposed to hang out with Emmett Cullen- Edward's brother- at nine!

In a quick attempt to retrieve the clothes that had fallen to the ground along with Edward's the night before, I managed to bump my head on the frame of my bed. I held my breath to prevent a suddenly worried Charlie rushing into my room to see his naked daughter gathering her clothes. What a great first impression of Edward, wouldn't you agree?

After, I quickly threw on the necessities (bra and underwear), a pair of jeans, and a teal blouse. I nearly sprinted down stairs, to find Charlie watching a basketball game. I knew he was getting to into the game, because he didn't bother to turn and ask of my where abouts for the afternoon or evening (thankfully).

A large jeep that looked like several gorillas could fit in it sat in the drive way. I stared uneasily as a chuck arose.

"Oh, hello, Emmett," I automatically recognized the brute's laugh.

"You shouldn't have seemed so surprised, Bella. I've been here since nine."

As I climbed into the passanger seat of the jeep I managed to let out a small squeal before hitting my head on the door frame, "Yeah, yeah."
After I was securely seated properly I spoke again, "So, where are we headed to?" 'An itallian restraunt, I hope,' I thought anxiously.

"There's a place on the outskirts of town, it's a little itallian restraunt."

When we pulled up, I found out that the 'little itallian restraunt' was only but a lie.

Instead, we arrived to a Diner.

"Did I get your hopes up?" Emmett smirked as if he were successful.

"Go screw yourself," I spat, harshly upon his feet.

"I believe thats what Rosalie is for," he replied slyly as we walked into the building.

Imeadiatly after we ordered, I noticed a boy about my age- staring at me. I raised my eyebrow in the most questioning way at him, but the corners of his lips raised rather than the expression I had hoped and expected to recieve.

Moments later, he wondered over to our table and set a hundred dollar bill infront of me as he attempted to whisper somewhat seductively, "Let me take you off his hands and make it worth your while~."

"Excuse me?! Do I look like the type of whore who'd date this trash can?" I hissed in return.

"Hah!" Emmett gleamed as if he'd been praised. "Get some, Bella!" Emmett then proceded to hand me the hundered that had been placed before me.

"I already got some. From your brother."
