Seriously, having a dad who doesn't even like you or see through your efforts is depressing.
The Patient and I
by Ino Y. Uchiha "Ami Sano"
She sat there in the white room, glancing out of the window.
"Kiba, catch this!" a girl with pink hair at her age said, throwing the ball right into a brown haired boy.
"I got it!" The boy whose name is "Kiba" said and swooped the ball from the air, with other children cheered from the sidelines.
Her face filling up with envy, she wished she there with them. 'If only'
The door creaked open and a silloutte in white went near her.
Ino parted away from the window, to look at the person. "Who are you supposed to be? And angel from heaven? I would love it if you take me away from here right now." She said sarcastically.
The person, used to her mocking words, simply shook her head in amusement. "I might not be an angel but that was close enough." she said, closing up the curtains, that hung on the sides of the blonde girl's window pane.
"Hey!" Ino said, her ful attention to the nurse. "I was looking out there. Remove the curtains at once!"
The nurse just smiled at her. "I simply can't. You're mother told me not to--"
"But she is not the patient." Ino pointed out.
"Ino-darling, just," the nurse said calmly at her. "Just listen to your elders for once."
"I listen to my father."
"Then listen to me for a change."
"Only to my father."
"Ino-darling..."
"STOP IT WITH THAT!" she screamed.
"But before I do, will you take this first?" the nurse took out a bottle of some medicine from Ino's lamp table.
Ino kept her back on the wall. "What are you doing?"
"Ino-darling," the nurse said tiredly, a spoon full of syrup in hand. "Please take your medicine."
"But that thing tastes ugly!" The little girl complained. "I don't want to take it anymore."
"Ino-darl--"
"I'm disgusted by everyone of you." She spat out in disgust. "Nurese are supposed to make patients like me better. Not the other way around."
"..."
"I'm tired of being in this stupid hospital bed everyday." She complained. "I want my freedom."
She was suffering from a incurable and rare disease. The only thing that kept her living is the medicines she took. (Ami's note: In other words, she's taking medicines that extends her life span but cannot cure her sickness.)
The nurse took a step closer.
"GET AWAY!" the blonde screamed. She was having a tantrum again. This might get serious.
"Head Nurse, Head Nurse!" she called. "Please call in her mother. She's having tantrums again!"
The head nurse comes in with the mother.
"Get away. All of you!" she screamed. "i don;t want to see anyone. Leave me alone!"
The head nurse took out a capsule that can calm people down and slid it down her mouth. In an instant, the Yamanaka girl calm down and was getting drowsy.
Smiling sadly, the head nurse turned to Ino's nurse and the mother. "She's getting worse every time."
Mrs. Yamanaka, her eyes filling up with water buried her face on the nurse's hair with the nurse comforting her.
Ino, losing her strength, lay on her bed with her eyes gently closing. "I'll get out of this next time..."
