Over the Hills and Far Away

Disclaimer: Sadly, I don't own YYH or The Music of Sharpe by John Tams and Dominic Muldowney. I do own a Music of Sharpe CD.

Another poem by me, I guess. It's a twist of the song 'Over the Hills and Far Away'. Yusuke's POV, kind of. Enjoy.

Here's a second life on the drum

For those who volunteer to come

To 'list and fight the foe to-day

Over the hills and far away

O're the hills and o're the main

Through blood, grief, and pain

Prince Koenma commands and we obey

Over the hills and far away

When the toddler calls me I must go

To stand and defeat another foe

But part of me will always stray

Over the hills and far away

O're the hills and o're the main

Through blood, grief, and pain

Prince Koenma commands and we obey

Over the hills and far away

If I should fall to rise no more

As my mentor did before

Then ask the rest to make them pay

Over the hills and far away

O're the hills and o're the main

Through blood, grief, and pain

Prince Koenma commands and we obey

Over the hills and far away

Then fall in guys behind the drum

With weapons blazing like the sun

Along the road to come-what-may

Over the hills and far away

O're the hills and o're the main

Through blood, grief, and pain

Prince Koenma commands and we obey

Over the hills and far away.

Please review. Thanks!
