Neji woke up like he always did. Suddenly and immediately at 5:00 AM.
Neji had to have certain conditions so that he could sleep. The room had to be absolutely freezing so that, no matter the season, he could sleep under several down comforters. Neji had to sleep with a wall to his back, curled up in a fetal position.
Neji woke up slowly, his tired eyes resisting the mid-morning sunlight.
The room was sweltering and the only covers, a thin sheet, had been kicked down to the foot of the bed. Neji was sprawled all over the bed, or rather, the other person in the bed. Neji propped himself up on his elbows and watched Naruto's sleeping face.
Neji thought that maybe this wasn't such a bad way to wake up.
