She was running for about an hour before she got called in.

She wasn't surprised; she never was.

She fell into routine and she was too busy to think about something else.

Good. Really good.

When her fourteenth hour of work was near, she was told to go home.

She didn't want to, but she had to.

She took the longest way home.

She came through the door.

She was met with nothing but silence.

Only silence.

She decided to go for a run.

Only one hour, she promised herself.

One hour turned to nearly four.

She was always running, no matter what.

She was pushing herself to the limits.

When sleep came, thirty minutes were all she could get.

So she got up and went for another run.
