I can tell Yugi notices that when I look at him, my eyes are a little softer, and when I
talk to him I'm a little quieter, and when I'm around him, I'm a little more subdued. And every
time I get a bit more uncomfortable with my feelings for him he says something that'll calm
me, but it's not quite important enough to make me think he might return my affection. Don't
think I haven't noticed he never goes far enough- or how the way he looks at his yami
matches the way I look at him. But I know he's trying to keep me from understanding I'm only
his friend, so that I don't get too depressed. So, when he says something that won't push me
away, but won't pull me closer, I take it with a smile and pretends it doesn't hurt a bit more
every time.
