A Week After Missing Gator Starring Percy the Small Engine

Percy was still feeling sad that he daydreamed 13 times.

Flashback

Percy and Gator puffing up Gordon's Hill happily.

Present

"Percy careful you have 60 trucks in front of you." Called Duck.

"What how?" asked Percy.

"You have been daydreaming for half-an-hour." Said Rosie in a worried tone. "You ok?"

"Er I'm missing Gator." Sighed Percy.

"We understand that." Puffed Thomas. "But we are all worried about you since Gator left you've been unhappy."

"Gator makes me happy too." Admitted Percy.

"Ok Percy you do the mail run and we'll see if he can help you from afar." Suggested James.

"Isn't that reckless?" asked Mavis.

"What choice do we have?" asked Stafford. "We can't tell the Fat Controller he'd send Percy away."

"We can't have that." Puffed Percy and soon he began pulling the mail with Mavis even more worried about Percy.

Soon Percy was pulling the mail and he saw Gator in the clouds.

"You might be braver than you think." Smiled Gator and Percy smiled as he puffed and Duck saw this.

"Wow Gator does help a lot even from a far." He smiled.

"We must report that Gator is needed back on Sodor." Puffed Thomas.

"But Gator doesn't belong to Sodor and we must move on." Argued Gordon.

"Gordon we can't have Percy very sad." Puffed Toby sadly seeing Percy was very sad and happy at the same time.

"It's ok Toby I can see Gator in the clouds and giving me advice." Replied Percy.

"Wow that is a good way to get advice." Smiled Duck.

"Yeah." Puffed Thomas.

"Guys you want to know how I got some trucks out of the mine outside of Ulfstead Castle?" asked Percy.

"Sure Percy buddy do tell." Puffed Oliver.

Flashback (Percy's POV)

I was scared into the tunnel after I avoided to stop to get coupled up to the trucks were in the mine and I needed to think and all I could think about was…Gator. And I saw him in a cloud of steam.

"Being brave is not the same as not feeling scared being brave is about what you do even when you do feel scared." Said Gator.

Present (Normal POV)

"Wow that's deep." Puffed Rosie.

"I hope the workmen are up to blocking up that mine for a second time." Puffed James.

Then the Fat Controller arrived.

"Back to work everyone." He ordered.

"Yes sir." Said everyone and then got to work and then Percy began looking at the sky where he saw Gator in the clouds again.

"Percy back to work." Said the Fat Controller.

"Sorry sir." Puffed Percy.

"Sir Percy is missing a visitor we had a few months ago: Gator." Mavis told the Fat Controller.

"Yeah Percy has never been so sad sir." Puffed Thomas.

"Yes beg pardon sir Percy wishes to see Gator one day." Puffed Duck.

"I can't make any promises but I'll ask Gator's controller if Gator can come back one day." Said the Fat Controller.

Later Percy was puffing to do the mail run and he managed to do the mail run even with Gator in his head and Percy thought Gator was right beside him and he told all the engines about it.

"He really does make you happy." Puffed Thomas.

"We weren't sure at first but now Gator is both a sad and happy thing for you to think about." Smiled Duck.

"We're happy for you Percy." Smiled Mavis. "If we were humans I'd hug you."

"Well you touch my buffers." Smiled Percy and so Percy and Mavis pushed buffers.

"Good to have you back Percy." Smiled Thomas.

"Nice to be back." Smiled Percy.
